The sun finally managed to shine on the clear blue sky. Since the end of the world started, there has only been chaos and darkness all year round. The grass that should grow on the ground got covered in ashes, mud, blood, and sometimes snow.

The sun's light was not seen since then, at least not as bright as today. It's as if a new hope filled the world with new beginnings. A few white birds appeared untimely.

They danced with the wind and flew tirelessly. As the sun illuminated half of the world, tiny plants grew from the cracks of the land, enjoying its warmth. The corpses withered and turned into ashes magically, but no one knew how this happened.

It's as if a powerful being swept the world clean and saved all living beings from contamination and death.

But the stars will never forget what happened.

Only supernatural beings lived at the end of the world, and the rest perished in history. Ordinary people were no match against the virus brought after the meteor shower first occurred.

Wasn't it just an evening celebrating and wishing for a good life while watching the stars fall?

But the wonderful time didn't last long.

Heavy rain bathed the land like a sudden weather change.

And all those people drenched in the heavy rain failed to wake up the following day.

"It was scary."

It was an unexpected tragedy that cursed all those who witnessed the movement within the galaxy's space.

And no one can explain why it happened.

The crowded and lively city slowly turned into a ghost place. The silence was eerie and heartbreaking. People slowly gathered news and their needs to continue their lives after mourning for those who died.

But that wasn't the most painful and exciting part.

They did not know when it started.

They were unsure of what had happened.

And no one could tell the beginning of things.

The dead never woke up, and most of those who stayed alive got sick and evolved one after another. The prosperous kingdom in turmoil continued to degenerate, and even wealthy officials turned their guns toward each other.

People feared dying and becoming unrecognizable monsters, but nothing could stop their greed.

Revenge and freedom became the goals of the remaining main-line offsprings of the royal family who once escaped the assassination.

But only a young lady younger than seventeen stepped up the game and fought for their rights.

"To live or to die!"

"Let's fight for our people!"

"Let's fight for our kingdom!"

"Be brave enough to fight what we fear!"

"Life and death are a cycle that no one can escape!"

"But have faith in yourselves and have faith in me!"

"Battle for survival!"

Words still echoed in the hearts of those who lived, fought, and died with her.

There were endless streams of war.

But no one will forget the most glorious queen who fought to the end.

The queen sacrificed her soul and emptied her powers to dry the blood on the battlefield.

"Brother, sister-- she--"

"What's wrong with the eldest sister?"

"Brother, Mia has called over us. She said the eldest sister-- she's bidding us her last goodbye. We must hurry back!"

"Have you called Lea?"

"Lea has just arrived in eldest sister's room."

"Then come on! Let's hurry back!"

The king and the youngest princess rushed to the chambers of their eldest sister, the former queen. Seeing Lea and Diana crying, tears also welled on their faces. And the king, who has never bowed to anyone, was kneeling powerlessly beside his sister's bed.

He gently took hold of her hand and laid a lingering kiss.

"Eldest sister-- you-- how could you leave us?" the king sobbed and choked in despair.

"A dignified king should not show his tears in front of his subjects. You are now the country's pillar and must protect our family. Wipe your tears, and don't let me see them fall."

Despite being frail, the woman's gentleness could be seen between her eyes and eyebrows as she lay on the bed.

Even though she had been in bed for several days, she still had a powerful momentum and an influential aura because of her long-standing high status.

And the supernatural power that the former queen wielded in the last few days can be felt around them as it slowly dissipates.

The queen is becoming one with the universe.

"Sister, you're being unfair to me-- how can I not mourn?" the king answered.

"Every person has a destiny, and our hands can create fate. Birth, sickness, and death are all natural cycles a person must go through. I am already nearing the door of eternity, but behold as I will never leave your side."

Diana, Lea, and Ara wept and hugged their sister, searching for comfort.

"Remember the things I've taught you. You have to be kind and measured to your subordinates. You must respect women and care for the children. And do not give up on life. Take care of yourselves, and I'll see you all if we have a chance."

Athena tried to comfort her brother as she gripped his hand. She smiled and stared at each of them for the last time. She remembered their faces' details and their final expression before sending her. A tear escaped from her eyes as they slowly closed.

The loud sound of the monitor echoed within her chamber. The hand gripping the king's hand loosened as he leaned to hug his sister.

Then their sister's breathing stopped altogether.

"Eldest sister?"

"Sister?"

"Sister-- she's gone."

"She's gone now."

Athena could hear the wailing in her ears, but it seemed as if she had nothing more to do with them, and her spirit slowly drifted away.

In the year 2101, the apocalypse successfully ended.

The king of the Crescent Kingdom decided to create a monument for his sister.

The advancement of technology and a new start were put on the agenda by the new king. The king also continued to stabilize the kingdom's economy and recruited many talents. He was sometimes tired of listening to the same issues every day and remembered the days he spent with his beloved eldest sister.

The eldest sister always used to keep herself awake to defend the kingdom from invasion.

She listens to politics and the military during the day and cultivates her powers with them at night.

She became their mother and father at the same time.

"My sister even forgot to find herself a reliable husband. Or maybe because she had seen no one comparable to match her strengths and fill her weaknesses."

From then on, the meritorious queen left her life within the apocalyptic history of humankind.
