Bye Bye.. Stumblebum

The time has come, my journey press on.

I got up from bed, it's around midnight.

If it's a normal day I will do my daily 5 sets of 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, 20 squat jumps, however this day is not normal, this day will set history to the people of Northanrey and of course marks the beginning of my journey.

I opened my wardrobe to take out the assassin's costume made by Tessa, whom belonged to Talia Northanrey. It is an-all black, long sleeved, tight t-shirt paired with an also all-black, tight, skinny pants.

These clothes are made from a special string, produced by a special spider called Kron. It has a special affinity for sneaking. It can make the user's body 2x flexible, it can fit into any body and sizes that's how it is able to fit into such tiny chest.

There's also a pair of all-black stretchy gloves, a pair of all-black stretchy socks, and a very comfortable looking, all-black scarf. Produced by the same special string, of course.

I now hold this tiny clothes on my hand that seemed like a doll's clothes at first glance. Tessa told me to just wear it as normally as possible, I guess that's what I'll do first.

I strip my pajamas and try wearing the pants first. I stretched it and it stretched like crazy. I wear it and it fits perfectly. I did the same to the others.

I opened my window, and jumped down. My room is in the second floor of the mansion, it used to be scary but I soon adapted to it.

I'm on my way to the sage tower, sneaking past many guards along the way, I picked some roses. I drop the roses in front of the tower and go back to the mansion.

On the Sage Tower previously, we planned out signals to signify our progresses. Roses signifies my start, Moonflower signifies I've been caught, and Remetras signifies that the mission is done flawlessly.

When Tessa sees the roses it means that I already started the plan and Tessa will start as well.

I arrived to the back of my mansion, climbed back up to where my room is. "Evom." my body turned half translucent I phased through my door not bothering to open it since it could make unwanted noises.

My mana reserve is humongous, I can use my spells freely without any time limit. It is not unlimited though, spells that I learned cost and drains a minuscule amount of mana.

I also learned that my mana regeneration is fast, it compliments my huge mana perfectly.

After phasing through the door, I quietly ran towards the stairs. On the way there I stumble across 3 various guards running patrols, walking back and forward.

I stopped and leaned at the walls to stay unseen. I wait for one of them to walk past me, and the others to take a turn, avoiding my path. I sneakily pass through the guards, make it down stairs.

The vault's location is supposed to be on the basemen level. Tessa showed me an ancient looking map and pinpoint the location, I memorized it in my head.

I sneakily make a run through to the stairs leading to the basement.

I reached the stairs and go down the steep stairs, until I see a guard coming upstairs right at me. If I run up the stairs, there's a chance I wouldn't make it in time even with my enhanced speed.

It's either I used an invisibility spell or I knock him out quitely.

"raeppa." I chant and simultaneously turned fully invisible. I walk pass the guard and the guard walk pass me at the same time, matching the noise that my steps make with the guard's.

I reach it- the basement safely and flawlessly. I look around trying to find a gigantic metal vault, but found nothing. The basement is vacant. Only dust and bricks can be seen.

Did Tessa tricked me? but the map is too real to be fake. I pondered for 5 minutes carefully while wandering around the empty basement.

And that's when I realized something crucial. "This basement.. isn't complete. The map showed that the room is way bigger than this and that guard, why is there even a guard patrolling this area when it's vacant?"

I touched the wall at the end of basement. I put my head at the bricks of the wall, it is dusty and dirty but it's all for a much greater purpose. I knock on each brick of the wall, finding the one that sounded the hollowest.

After knocking the brick for around a minute and idea came to my mind.

Couldn't I use my quantum manipulation to fast forward my self. Then, my already enhanced speed can be quicken to 5x that. The process will be much quicker.

I touched my body then suddenly it's surrounded with a half visible energy. For me everything I see remains the same just 5 times slower, but when the others sees me I will be fast and talk fast.

2 minutes later I found it, a hollow brick. I cancelled my fast forward skill and knocked on the brick one more time to verify it.

I push the brick and my suspicion is correct, the brick contoured like a button. Mechanical melodies ringed from the direction of the wall and the wall opened up like a hidden gate.
