She raised her hand. Rafael thought she wanted a handshake, so he complied. But Aiyana was surprised by his action.
She froze for a moment, then smiled, "Shaking hands means something else for my race, but since we already met, I will leave something for you."
Her hand glowed green, then raised in intensity, blinding Rafael. He could only feel something hot entering his hand.
After his sight recovered, Aiyana was nowhere to be seen. He looked around and felt the atmosphere had returned to normal.
Rafael turned on the light and saw there were no more blood stains on the ground.
"Rafael, are you there? Why not turn on the first-floor light?" Reina's voice screamed from the first floor.
"You are home, sis? Yes, I forgot, sorry." He replied as he walked downstairs.
Downstairs, he saw Reina's tired face; she was still wearing her work uniform: a black blazer with a knee-length skirt.
"Where have you come from, sis?"
