The Princess and The Bad Boy

After her mother dies, Daphne Lane has to go with her father and stepmother who is a queen to Luisa Island, a small (fictional) island that is very prosperous. To become a member of the royal family, she is taken to a mansion in Los Angeles (Twin City of the capital of Luisa) to be taught manners. During the debriefing, she was mentored directly by her stepmother and got a private tutor. In an instant, Daphne's free life begins to be restricted by rules. A set of rules that become a habit should not be broken. Like it or not, Daphne must follow the rules that apply in her life. Transferring to a new school, Daphne immediately becomes the spotlight there as the Princess of Luisa. Although many are queuing up to become her new friends, Daphne prefers to befriend the children who are members of the "Dumped Students" to avenge the crimes of the popular students' club led by Trixie Marshall. Despite being known as a trouble-provoking and a school bouncer, no one knows how Daphne has felt since losing her mother and having to live under the same roof as a stepmother who upholds manners and often compares her to Christabel. Her stepmother and even father also began to make her feel alienated in her new environment. Daphne tries to escape by tricking the security. But unfortunately amid her attempt to escape, she actually 'meets' with Justin Lancaster, an annoying guy who is a troublemaker at school. So her journey to the place of contemplation was again interrupted by the boy's presence.

I haven't stopped smiling to myself like a fool ever since Marcel handed me a piece of paper with a portrait of my own drawn in the library. I've never been with a guy in my entire existence. They are the ones who are afraid of me and don't want to be near me.

Maybe being a princess is a blessing for me. Apart from my make-up which was completely and not as messy as it used to be, I was able to apply a little etiquette lesson from Gertrude.

I crammed my books into my locker and grabbed some I needed for the next class. My lips had been pulled upwards, I didn't want to stop smiling. I'm afraid the school's residents justify me as crazy. Eh… but considering the first rule in the etiquette book, I don't think smiling a lot is a problem.

As soon as I closed the locker door and turned around, I flinched when I saw Justin Lancaster standing in front of me. One hand pressed against my locker door, locking me in place so that my back was against the locker door. He leaned forward so much that I could smell the musk tickling my nose.

"What do you want?" I asked calculatingly.

"Giving you the calculations," he said lightly.

I laughed hyperbolically. "Giving calculations? If you think I'm afraid to face you, Mr. Lancaster, the answer is no. You can understand my language, huh? Sarcasm is my second language."

One eyebrow was pulled up, looking scornful at me. Now the other hand is pressing on my locker door. And now I'm literally locked in my place with those two caramel eyes constantly staring at me intimidating.

"You're a princess. Where are your manners, huh?" The tone was lowered two octaves, into a deep, well, sexy whisper. "Apologize for your insolence."

"One thing you need to know, Lancaster. I'm against saying sorry." My eyeballs glanced at twelve o'clock, where Trixie and her minions were standing watching us from a distance. He tilted his head to one side, seemingly accepting my challenge.

Oh my God… should I? My lips are still pure. And I want the only guy to give me my first kiss is Marcel. You expect too much, I thought in a mocking whisper.
