Two men matter most in Ivy's life, two exceptional men, one a hero she has always admired, the other the ruler of an Empire she has always envied, two men with indomitable personalities and extraordinary powers who nevertheless hated each other long before they knew her. She loves them both. So who in the end will win her heart.
And finally, the change was complete. Then Zion looked up and Ivy saw his face. A thin face framed by bluish-black hair that blended incomparably with a stellar night, and looked so soft to the touch. And his eyes, so strange she couldn't describe them. Ivy closed her eyes for a moment, knowing she would never forget them.
- Zion....
Suddenly, the slime monster laughed and shook in a disturbing way, emitting extremely powerful shockwaves that wreaked havoc around it and kicked up countless pieces of debris that violently destroyed the shield that housed Ivy, who was brutally pushed away.
- Ivy!
She heard Zion's voice worrying about her, which strangely reassured and touched her.
But just as suddenly, the giant monster reached out with its tentacles to grab the girl. Seeing the danger she was in, she struggled to get up, trying to dodge the deadly tentacles with incredible agility, and at the same time throwing magical shots at her opponent. But Beigie suddenly rushed towards the tentacles to protect the girl. And wrapping herself completely in a magical layer, went to crash into the tentacles. Unfortunately, those easily tore the magical protection and immediately affected the beast before pushing it away like the guardian of Vaegos and Kreiz, a moment before.
- Beijie! No !
Alas, in the one second of inattention when she concentrated all her thoughtfulness towards her faithful and brave creature who had defended her with so much devotion, she was seized by the tentacles that enveloped her fragile body.
They lifted her up and carried her towards the ruthless giant.
The tentacles tightened their grip around her and enveloped her in poison. Fortunately, her costume protected her as best it could, but obviously it wouldn't last more than a few seconds.
Ivy struggled with all her strength to free herself.
- Let me go, you monster!
She was suffocating and her body was aching.
- Zion.... !
And in answer to that little prayer, Zion finally regained control of his magic and his strength beautifully. He stood up proudly and raising his arm slightly, created a gigantic barrier right in front of the putrid giant and quickly expanded it, cutting off all the tentacles at once.
Ivy screamed as she fell, but Zion jumped to catch her. She was in his arms before she even realized what was happening to her.
She looked at him, stunned and fascinated.
- Zion... How is it possible, such power? she asked softly.
- You know me, don't you? It's just the way I am.
Then it inclined the head and kissed her one moment, gently then let free course with its passion. The girl felt so weak, like a child. But even if she had had the strength, she knew that she would not have avoided this kiss. Because that kiss meant the truth, plain and simple.
Then, raising his head, Zion smiled slightly at her before turning to his enemy, and lighting up even more, with a glare as exceptional as it was blinding, he reached out and sent a gigantic shot at the monster, a shot so powerful that it destroyed everything from the abandoned building where they were quarrelling at the very beginning to the surrounding forests.
Then once again, engulfed in this ocean of equally oscillating light, Zion turned to the girl. But this time, it was she who kissed him. Marotte's monster died as it liquefied and dissolved into the indestructible sails of Zion's magic, its scream and the sounds of its destruction ripping through the air without respite. But that didn't matter to the couple, who kissed again and again, passionately, desperately, as if they would never stop. Their breath, their lips, their tongues mingled greedily, tirelessly. Zion traversed the body of the girl of his greedy and possessive hands. No parcel of skin was spared. Then, voluptuously caressing her breasts, Ivy moaned with pleasure against his mouth and bit the lower lip of her brown lover.
Raising his head for a moment to look at the face of his stranger, for the first time, Zion did not know how to express his feelings.
- You are truly amazing.
Ivy laughed lightly at the heartfelt words.
- You are too. You've destroyed everything.
- I know. And at the end of the day, like you said, I'm just unable to do anything else.
- And you were right. Your power is truly unparalleled. As incomparable as your unbearable arrogance.
- Of course it is!
They smiled at each other before kissing again. But the ground on which they stood so madly gave way under the pressure of Zion's glare, and they fell together through the rain of debris and charred pieces of the monster into a bottomless pit.
At first, Ivy felt no fear because she was in Zion's arms, hugged until she choked. But soon she realized that something was tormenting her beast, hurting him, bruising him, and she couldn't figure out what.
- Zion, what's going on? Tell me!
He never answered her question. Only the burns that began to appear on his body did. He began to scream in agony.
Helplessly, Ivy watched him struggle, entrenched in a solitude she did not understand.
- Zion, if only there was something I could do.... ? Tell me and I'll do it!
But at that moment, she guessed there was nothing she could do. Then she was in turn enveloped in unbreakable black veils. And irretrievably closed her eyes and let herself be drawn into a total black hole.
