Chapter 4

Red laid in her bed wide awake she couldn't sleep something a gut feeling was telling to walk away but she didn't want to walk away she was so close to getting what she wants the reaction she got from Ryan today was what she wanted she stood up and went to take a shower meanwhile Ryan was still shook his brother and her was a bad combination he has always known about how Luciano felt about Red but she had never felt the same way he went to wash his face and looked up too the moon tomorrow was the family dinner and today Valerie was spending the night at her brother 's place but he wanted her here with him.

Red woke up and went downstairs her mother was running around fixing the house she actually looked presentable and for once she had a smile on her face instead of her usual scowl "what is going on?" Red asked her mother "oh sweetheart you are finally up go get ready we have to go for a conference" her mother said gritting her teeth Red sighed and took a shower but you know this might actually be a good thing she thought her mother had laid out a blue dress for her she looked around her closet and found some knee high boots, black tennis skirt, her black jacket and a black tank top she did her make up and finished it off with a bold dark red she left her hair in their natural curls which caused her hair too look shorter since it was now up too her shoulders she put on some mascara and then changed her clothes she looked her self over in the mirror and smiled.

She heard voices coming from downstairs and it was one of her dad 's colleagues she went downstairs and she smiled when she saw the look on her mother 's face "Mr Rogers it's great to see you again" Red said offering him a handshake he smiled "well Meredith you've grown since the last time I've seen you" "thankyou" "well you remember my son Jacob" "yes I do remember him" she shook hands with Jacob and smiled at him "mom you should smile you look like the wicked witch of the west" she whispered in her mother 's ear the went to their cars and the drivers drove off Red new that he could use her parents 's acting against them they soon arrived at the location of the press conference "well Mr Greene it's great to see you again" one of dad 's old friends said he smiled at him and they exchanged greetings Red spotted Luciano at the other side of the room he was wearing a three piece black suit as usual he was with his father he spotted her looking at him an smiled as she looked away "Meredith you have grown into a beautiful young woman" her father 's friend stated he gave her a hug but it was too uncomfortable for Red 's liking "last time I saw you, you were still sucking you thumb"he said he gave her a smile then a wink and he left with her father "Miss Greene pleasure seeing you here" Luciano said she looked at him and sighed "how are you Luciano" she answered back at him "I'm good I couldn't help but notice you eye raping me from the other side" he said to her "I did not" she protested he laughed at her Meredith enjoyed hearing his laugh it brought out a spark " Meredith how are you doing" Luciano 's father said he didn't smile nor showed emotion " nice to meet you Mr Price" Red said she looked at Luciano who's face had turned stone cold he had completely changed they exchanged greetings and Luciano left for the meeting with his father.

Red couldn't help but gawk at Luciano he was so cold he acted as if nothing even bothered him this was another side of him she has never seen he didn't move a muscle just still and cold was this the same Luciano she knew who was almost always drunk and who had a playful glint always in his eyes.

Luciano couldn't help but notice Red staring at him out the corner of his eye she had changed he thought to himself and he still didn't want to believe it she used to be so vulnerable she dint even have the strength to look people in the eyes but yet she was a freshman back then this new Red didn't please him he saw Asher his other brother looking at Red he clenched his fists Asher was the other younger brother don't get him wrong he knew about his brother `s obsession with Red but he still didn't understand it he stared at Red how could a girl like her capture her brother `s interest its not a new thing back when she was fourteen and he was eighteen he started liking her even though she never understood his intentions she always saw them as taunts instead of compliments she was his first love obsession and desire.

After the meeting Luciano walked toward Red who was talking to her father he held her waist which shocked her "Mr Greene nice to meet you again" he said with venom in his teeth he hated the Greene family just because he was a business Tycoon he got away with everything he smiled back at him and shook his hands "so I suppose the two of you are familiar with each other" her father said looking at both of them was this the guy Red was seeing "well I was hoping I could get your permission to steal her for the night" Luciano said Red looked up at her father through the strand of hair hanging from her face and gave him a light smile "well why do you want to steal my daughter?" Red `s father said he looked at his daughter who was lost in her thoughts "well I didn't properly introduce myself I'm Luciano Price and I'm dating your daughter" he said offering his hand again 'wow they were a lot of handshakes and introductions today' Red thought to her self she almost laughed at what she thought "so you are her boyfriend I suppose" "I hope so Meredith" he said looking at her she looked at him and nodded "Delilah you should meet our daughter 's boyfriend" her father said to her mother who was coming from the bathroom or in other words having fun with one of Red `s father `s friends "oh its nice to meet you, Meredith you didn't tell us about him" her mother said looking at her daughter hoping she would stay under control "I was going to mother but then you were busy" Red said to her mother her father allowed Luciano to take Red and they left.

"you look like you are not very fond of your parents" Luciano said breaking the ice between the "I'm not" she said staring at her fingers
