As soon as Lu NianXi entered the club she looked around to find her best friend. She was a little excited to see her friend after a long time....

When Nian Xi found her best friend sitting at the corner of the bar, she quickly made her way to her best friend.

Looking at the empty glasses and bottles before her, Lu NianXi gently called out to her friend.

"BeiBei, don't drink so much. "

Su Bei who was drunk and sprawled on the counter, heard her voice. She held her dizzy head and looked up.

When she saw Lu NianXi, she was smiled and then instantly started crying, confusing her even more.

"What's wrong? We haven't seen each other only for around six months. It's not something you need to cry for, right?" Lu NianXi sat down beside her and asked.

"Shut up! Why would I cry for that? It's not that." After saying this Su Bei began to again.

After seeing her best friend acting like this, Lu NianXi felt that there was something wrong with her best friend. She immediately asked what was wrong with her. After hearing that her best friend and her boyfriend had a fight, Lu NianXi didn't know whether to call her friend stupid or not. Her friend was scared that he would break up with her but didn't want to be the first one to step up and talk as it was his fault.

"How about we go home for now? Let's talk about it tomorrow after you have a good rest."

She said.

Su bei agreed and both of them left the bar.

After arriving at her apartment, she helped her friend to the guest room. After feeding her some water and making sure she was asleep, Lu NianXi then went to take a shower.

It was a long day and travelling had made her tired, after taking her shower she went to bed and fell asleep.

In the morning, NianXi woke up early. With a good rest she was feeling better and got up to look at her friend.

In the guest room, Su bei had just woken up and felt her head hurt. She looked around the unfamiliar room and tried to recall what had happened.

At this moment, the door opened and NianXi entered.

"Are you awake? "

" XiXi? " Su Bei looked at NianXi and was shocked. Only then did she remember that she had called NianXi to celebrate her return but she ended up lamenting about her break up!

"BeiBei, are you alright? I'll bring you some hangover medicine."

Looking at Su Bei spacing out Nianxi called out to her.

"Ah? Yes.. I need some, this headache is killing me! " she said

Nianxi went to the kitchen and quickly brought some medicine for her. After taking the medicine NianXi asked to Su Bei to fresh up and ordered some food for them.

Su Bei got up and went to the bathroom.

Half an hour later she went to the living room and saw the delivered food place on the table but she didn't see her friend.

As she was about to call out to her, she heard NianXi talking on the phone.

She came to the living room and sat on the sofa, waiting for her to finish talking. She didn't wait long as Nianxi returned soon.

When Su Bei saw her she immediately threw herself into Nianxi's arms, giving her a hug.

Nianxi also returned her embrace back. To tell the truth, she had missed Su Bei very much.

After hugging her for some time, Su Bei finally broke the silence..

"Are you going to leave again? Or you're staying here? " She asked.

Hearing this Nianxi got emotional and said

"No. I'm not going to leave again."

"Really? Then have you gone to your parents home yet? "

"No, not yet. There was something in the company that needed to be settled. I'll go there tomorrow." Nianxi answered.

"I see." After saying this, the atmosphere became silent again.

"Let's go and eat. I've ordered some porridge and some simple dishes. It must be getting cold" NianXi said.

Both of them came to the dining table and started eating. While eating Lu NianXi suddenly spoke out.

"Well, won't you introduce your boyfriend to me? You were quiet enthusiastic when you talked about him." Said Nianxi breaking the silence. Hearing this Su Bei blushed red like a tomato.

"Wh..What??" Su Bei was shocked to hear the sudden question and was startled.

When she remembered how she was complaining about her boyfriend in front of her best friend, she was so shy and embarrassed that she look at Nianxi in the face. She knew this habit of hers. Once Lu Nianxi got topics like this, she would tease her she was shy.

"N.. No... Tha... That's... "Su Bei could not help but stammer....

" Well, you're really some great friend! You Invited me to drink and celebrate.. but you were so drunk even before you could celebrate me!?"

" And on top of that, you even had a break up, but you never even told me about this boyfriend of yours? Do you not see me as your friend anymore?" She even made a crying face.

It's just that I.. well it's only been a month when we started dating and I wanted to see if we work out together or not....He said he likes me and fell in love with me at first sight and I also kind of like him.. but.. " Su Bei paused in the middle and was in a daze..

"I think he's not interested in me anymore. I saw him going to a hotel with a girl.. They looked very close. I thought he didn't want to be with me anymore, so I asked for a break up yesterday" Su Bei finished saying this and looked at her and said.

"Why don't you call him and ask again? "

"Just drop me off at my studio." Su Bei said, not rejecting the free ride offered to her.

So, after dropping Su Bei, she directly went to her company.

When she reached the company, it was already half an hour later.

At 10:30 AM, all the employees had come and started doing their respective jobs. Seeing their boss entering, the receptionists greeted her politely. She simply nodded and directly entered her private lift.

Coming into the office, she was greeted by her assistant and secretary, and immediately started working.

She picked up a file and started reding it.

After reporting her schedule, Bella checked her meeting and infored her.

Ma'am, the representative of LanShi group have made an appointment to with you."

Bella said.

"Okay. Fix the Meeting at 4 PM the day after tomorrow."

"Okay, Miss"

"Is there anything else? If not you can go do your work. And remember to inform me about time before the lunch meeting."

"Yes, Miss. We'll take our leave. Call us if you need something."

"Hm" Lu NianXi replied without looking away from her documents.

A few minutes later there was a knok on the door. "Yes.Come in" She said without looking up. The person stepped in and stopped near her desk.

"Miss Lu, Your Coffee." Xi Cheng said with a smile on his face.

Lu NianXi who was focused on her work, tilted her head up at the familiar voice.

"Brother Cheng, you're here?"She smiled and got up.

" It's okay. Sit down. I just came to see you."

Xi Cheng said handing her the coffee. He sat down opposite of her.

"Is that so? I thought you were here to make sure If I would go home or not! "

"Yes, you're going back right? "Xi Cheng asked hesitating.

Hearing this, Lu NianXi chuckled and looked at her cousin.

" Yes, I'm going. I can't stay away from them anymore. I don't want to hurt anymore only because of my selfishness. Staying away is not the option to solve this.I know. I won't run anymore" She said.

"Really?"

"Yes"After she said this, Xi Cheng was so happy, he jumped to his feet and pulled NianXi into his arms, hugging her and laughing happily.

"I'm so glad that you're willing to think this through. Baby, you've grown up!" He said patting her head.

"If that is so, then I'll pick you up tomorrow and take you there. Let's surprise them together."

"Okay. Pick me up at 9 then." She said

"Good." I'll get going then. He said Bye and left.
