"Robin, can you check with Peter about the information I requested about Laura's boyfriend?" Jacob asked hastily when he arrived at the villa.

Robin was having dinner with the family when Jacob returned and was surprised that Jacob had not asked about his mother but rather Laura.

"Sure, but where have you been?" Robin asked calmly, sliding his cutlery through the delicious beef he was having for dinner.

Sabrina did not interfere in their conversation and neither did grandma. Robert was asleep, but Savanah was with Margaret.

The family never lacked caretakers for the twins at all times.

"Laura's apartment," Jacob said truthfully. Robin's brows raised and he dabbed the corners of his mouth with a napkin.

After a little thought, he excused himself from the table and walked to the study as Jacob followed him.

"Oh, will you tell me what happened or…" Robin was speaking when Jacob cut in.
