The Possessed Villain: My Life on the Doomsday Committee

Griswalden Silverth possesses Death's Route power and can predict the best ways to kill someone. He is a member of the Doomsday Committee, aiding monsters in world destruction. Aiden becomes furious upon discovering that Griswalden, his favorite villain, dies abruptly in the story. Dissatisfied with the ending, he expresses his irritation by cursing the author in the comments. The author responds calmly, "I'm willing to give you a chance if you think you can outperform Gris." Thus, Aiden mysteriously transmigrates as Griswalden Silverth in the web novel Rise of the Low-Class Hero. *** The storyline is slow. The MC goes to the villains' academy in chapter 40+. He had to go through many paths to join the doomsday committee. His life in the committee is still long but it will be the main plot until the end. English isn't my native tongue, so there might be some slip-ups in spelling, grammar, and clarity. However, I'm open to corrections if you point out any mistakes. I'm all about constructive criticism, so lay it on me (nicely). When you drop a review, it'd be great if you mentioned the latest chapter you read to help out new readers.

Deadly Nightshade

"I'll get it for you, Young Master," Declan smiled before going to a stand near the training ground gate.

He took out rags for Gris and Alaric to wipe their sweat. Returning to stand beside Leander, he watched as Gris explained tomorrow's training plan.

Then, he opened the secret channel created by Mystic Manifest again. Such a channel could be purchased at the Magic Shop for a high price.

Specific mana was required to operate the channel, indirectly indicating that Mystic Manifest was at least an archmage. It was automatically connected to the minds of its members.

[Gemini Mind: Don't worry. I already have a plan. Let's let Griswalden have some fun first~]

[Serene Savior: You should have finished him immediately after discovering he was possessed. What if he finds out your identity?]

[Gemini Mind: I've been spying on Silverth Mansion for months to gather evidence of Blayz's crimes. You seem to forget that I was able to survive at Pandemonium Academy. I never got caught, haha.]

[Storm Rage: Be careful. Arrogance causes you to overlook small details that could be catastrophic for you~]

Annoyed by his friends' responses, Declan closed the channel. When he first transmigrated, he found himself in the body of a student at Pandemonium Academy.

Confused and shocked, he adapted while searching for a way to return to his original world. That's when he received a surprising notification.

[Possessor, you can return to your world if your chosen side wins!]

In the story he read, the Heroes Sides defeated the Doomsday Committee so that Doomsday could not continue. He finally decided to stay at the academy and change his role once he got out.

His final test was to become a spy in Amarthia with Blayz because he wanted that position on the committee.

He hoped to gather evidence of Blayz's crimes as soon as possible so he would not have to get involved with the committee. Thanks to his excellent acting, he survived until now.

'You're just a beginner, kid. I've been at this a long time,' Declan watched intently as Gris ran, his mind racing with thoughts.

"I need to leave," Declan whispered to Leander, holding his crotch with a grin.

Leander winced in disgust and pushed Declan away. "Get back from the bathroom immediately!"

Declan did go to the bathroom. Perhaps he needed an alibi later. He then went to the great kitchen, knowing Rowena was there.

"You chefs are useless! The food you make does nothing to whet my appetite!"

In the kitchen, Rowena slammed down a bowl of soup. There was nothing wrong with the soup. She just needed someone to vent her anger on.

When she heard the door open, she glared at Declan. "What are you doing here?" she snapped.

"Uh, I just wanted to check on the food for Young Master Gris," Declan replied. "He requested special food for his training."

Hearing Gris's name irritated Rowena even more, but she could not hit Declan because that might have caused her father to intervene.

"Do it quickly. I don't want to see your ugly face here."

Declan only replied with an awkward smile. He approached the chef in charge of Gris's food, chatting briefly before turning to the tea storage.

"Why is that here? You should return it to the lab."

The chef looked down at the dry tea leaves Declan had noticed. "I don't understand. That's tea."

"It looks like someone made a mistake sorting out the kitchen ingredients and special herbs. I can understand because sometimes the two come together. It does look like tea, but it's not."

"I-Is it dangerous?"

"It is dried deadly nightshade that has been processed. The effects of consuming it can make the body paralyzed and lose memory."

Declan's explanation stunned everyone, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity. The head chef scolded the scullery maids responsible for managing the kitchen ingredients.

"How could you be so careless? It's good that it only came into the kitchen yesterday, so we haven't served it to anyone yet!"

While the scullery maids apologized, Declan laughed inwardly at their carelessness. He did not intentionally place the Deadly Nightshade, but it was a scullery maid's mistake.

He took advantage of this at the right moment to provoke Rowena, knowing her bad habit of scolding the kitchen chef when irritated.

"Let me put this back where it belongs," Declan reached for the tea storage, but Rowena quickly snatched it away.

Rowena tried not to carve a wide smile as she said, "I have business with father. Let me just return this."

"All right, if that's what you want."

Driven by rage, Rowena kept some of the deadly nightshade to use on Gris before returning it to Blayz.

Declan did not know about the effects of deadly nightshade in his previous world. But here, it was a dangerous plant because it could make someone paralyzed and lose their memory for a long time, even forever.

Pandemonium Academy gave a lesson about this dangerous plant. It was said that the Doomsday Committee once conducted experiments related to deadly nightshades on kidnapped heroes.

The heroes had no memory of the deity's blessings, making their connection with the deity severed. That caused them to be unable to use their powers.

Blayz must have bought the deadly nightshade for the particular case. Since it was illegal, he indeed obtained it from the black market.

The distributor would send it in secret, so he did not know it had arrived, and the scullery maid carelessly brought it into the kitchen.

[Gemini Mind: Problem solved. I am lucky. I utilized the situation to make Griswalden consume deadly nightshade.]

[Blueprint Maestro: That's more painful than death.]

[Storm Rage: I don't believe in luck, anyway~]

Declan could only curse Storm Rage silently. He was sure Rowena would make Gris consume the deadly nightshade before the academy representatives arrived.

That way, Gris could not attend the academy, so Rowena would no longer have to face a Silverth family rival of her age.

The day before the academy representatives arrived, Gris walked towards the Oleander pavilion while checking the inventory system. It was already filled with his items.

[Inventory]

[Soulshard Axe | Bloomfire Terror | Magical Cage

Three tunics | Three pants | Shoes

One soap | Magic plants| One towel

Two coats | A bank note]

[Warning: You cannot add any more items to your inventory! You can upgrade your inventory by leveling up your rank class or upgrading it in the Magic Shop.]

"The quickest way to level up my inventory is to buy it from the magic shop. Love how the gods here are all about capitalism. Just hoping there's no tax on purchasing items!"

Gris closed the system once he arrived at his room. A tray of food was set up on the table.

He looked at the grilled chicken breast, his current favorite. His shoulders began to shake, and then laughter broke out followed.

"That crazy bitch really did it!"

On the other side, Alberic sprinted toward Blayz's room. Cold sweat streaming down his face. He broke the door with a single, forceful kick, paying no heed to Blayz's protest.

"Sir, something serious has happened. All the guards stationed along the walls and towers had been slain!"

Blayz frowned. "No wonder I heard screams in the distance. It wasn't my imagination. What happened?"

"I'm not sure yet. But someone claimed to have seen Young Master Gris some time ago at the scene."
