She Saw Them Again

A week has already gone by so quickly and Amanda is getting discharged from the hospital today. Her parents were called to fill in some paperwork before she could be discharged.

"You haven't been going to work for some days now Bella. You are always at the hospital with me, did you and the manager argue? Did he perhaps fire you," Amanda asks with concern, staring at me?

"No, we did not argue nor did he fire me, I think I will stop working at the club with you. No matter the huge pay, I still believe the club is not a suitable place for a girl like me," Bella said, trying to sound carefree about her decision.

She is a lady with a proper upbringing but anyone who learns that she works at the club will not care to hear what job she is doing but there will quickly draw a conclusion that she is selling her body to earn money.

Although that is something she would never do, she will not take it lightly if someone dares accuse her of such a thing.

"I knew that something was wrong somewhere, so tell me what happened that made you want to quit the job that brings you a lot of cash?

And don't even think that you can lie to me," Amanda said in a firm tone just to intimidate Bella into telling her the truth.

Bella knew there was no way she could hide anything from her best friend. Amanda knows her too well to fall for any lies she says. She began telling Amanda what the crazy guys did in the hospital.

"The day you got into the accident, some guys came to look for me saying that their friend wanted to have a word with me but I refused. I spoke rudely to them and even called the one who sent them on the errand a crazy person," Bella said, her expression looking very serious.

"The first place I met them was in the club and I am sure they might come to look for me at the club, that is why I want to quit. I don't want to get entangled with people like them," Bella said honestly. The moment she set eyes on the two guys that day, something inside her screamed trouble which is why she chose to stay away from them. Nothing good comes out of dealing with renowned playboys like them.

"Do you know who they were?" Amanda asked curiously. She was surprised to see Bella act this way. She could not help but want to know those capable of making her fearless friend act this way.

"Yes. Mr Patrick told me they were important guests and he put me in charge of serving them on the day you got into an accident. I left the VIP room in a hurry when I learned that you were involved in an accident. Judging from what Mr Patrick said that night combined with how they dressed when they came to the hospital, I guess they are wealthy," Bella said, not disclosing that the ones who came to look for her were the renowned playboys in the city.

"Stop stressing yourself over what happened. They are not stupid to come to search for you after how you treated them, believe me," Amanda assured Bella with a smile.

"I really wish you are telling the truth," Bella heaved a sigh of relief. She really hoped it was like Amanda said.

"Let's go and wait for your parents downstairs," Bella said. She stood up and held Amanda's hands.

"Let go of my hand Bella!" she yelled but Bella refused and started laughing at her. 

Amanda doesn't like it when Bella holds her like that. She says it makes her look like a child whenever I hold her hand like that.

On the ground floor, Bella, still holding onto Amanda's hand, searching for any sign of Amanda's parents. Just then her eyes met three guys standing far away at the other end of the large hall.

Recognising them at first glance Bella dragged Amanda towards the direction of the exit. The shock of meeting the guys there momentarily made her forget that her best friend was injured.

"Why are you in such a hurry, Bella?" Amanda, oblivious of what was going on, inquired when they reached outside. 

"There is no one after you, so walk slowly". Amanda said when Bella wouldn't listen to them.

Bella thought the guys came there for her but what she didn't know was that she wasn't the reason three guys were in the hospital.

Actually, Mark's sister was admitted to the hospital for a high fever. The three guys came there to visit her and that was the reason she saw them there.

What she didn't know was that Mark and Ben never told Ethan that Bella's best friend was hospitalized.

Also, the three friends didn't see her and Amanda. She was merely running for nothing.

 When they reached the floor Mark's sister was hospitalised in, Ethan approached the porch. He stood there staring at those entering and exiting the hospital.

When Mark and Ben saw that Ethan wasn't following them, they approached where he stood to see what caught their attention.

"She is so beautiful when she smiles" mumbled when his eyes met the shining face of a lady talking and laughing with her friend downstairs. He was staring at her when he felt the presence of someone beside him. He turned to see his friends staring at him.
