Thor POV———
Mezejiah
Planet of the Mezeji
Countless years were spent here. Dining, Drinking, Celebrating, Battling, Searching...….and discovering.
Years ago, some...….500 years, did we first land upon this planet. Today it seems so long ago. Me and Maegor, scouring the galaxy for traces of dead gods, battling monsters and the sort, I would lay with wenches while Maegor busied himself with the mortals, engaging in conversation on every single planet we visited.
I missed him. I enjoyed our temporary partnership. Maegor was- IS a good friend. Jolly and savior-hearted. He cared for all and always wore a smile on his face.
Even though I was called back to my home, I still remembered him. His memory was comfort in dark times. And that is why I traveled to meet with him now. I had matured...…somewhat, at least I thought, 'Mjolnir' had finally found something in me worthy of its usage, my princely duties required more of me and I had progressed with my powers. 'Perhaps I could show Maegor my power?' An interesting thought.
I was put out of my mind as I came upon the planet. The darkness of space only lit by distant stars and orbiting planets.
Mezejiah was significantly larger than Midgard by atleast 3 times. Most of it was covered with water. One singular, planet spanding ocean with one continent in the very middle. I figured it was as big as what the mortals on Midgard call 'Africa.'
The lands were mountainous. Each one spanding as far as the eye could see. The peaks reached the sky, looking like pillars that held the sky up.
Mjolnir swirled next my ear as hovered over the landscape.
I spied a gem-blue stream in a far reaching forest. It was seeping and dribbling as it swerved through the trees. It jumped for joy over the timeworn rocks. My brother, Baldur, told me of how rivers are the 'arteries' of the forest.
'Whatever that meant.'
This one sparkled like bloodied steel in fresh sunlight. Fluttering butterflies drifted over it lightly.
I was encapsulated.
The terrain slowly changed. Steadily, with each step, aroma's came to me first. Strands of crimson red seeped into the water.
'Something's wrong here.' I thought to myself as recalled the last time I was here. As far as my eye could see, stretching over the horizon, I caught sight of the far area. The air was full of red fumes proliferating the sky. The trees were twisted with some kind of crimson flora, or was it fungus?
I did not know.
"Thunder god?" A feminine, dulcimer sweet voice radiated out from somewhere in the middle of the forest. "I knew it was not to be a mortal, they would have already been affected."
"Reveal yourself, witch!"
Sick laughter reverberated through the trees. "Witch?…..how funny-" amusement was clear through her tone. I had enough experience with Amora, I didn't need another gunning after me. "-I assure you, Asgardian, I am not a witch."
Before I could respond, my surroundings shifted. I was still on solid ground but…..but my surroundings were vastly different. Instead of a peaceful pasture of nature there was a lake of putrid, blood-red waters the pulsed and bubbled on a whim. The surroundings were…
"You stand before the Swamp of Aeonia, Asgardian. Be grateful, you are the first of your kind to gaze upon its beauty." A head of crimson peaked from the center of the lake. Slowly it arose, showing a face similar to beauty goddess. Her eyes narrowed like a serpent's. "Now…why have you visited these lands?"
No matter the wenches looks, she would distract me, "Maegor, a friend of-"
Her voice turned from pleasing to harsh in an instant, "Ʈĥāťș 'Łŏřď Ӎāėğŏř' ťŏ ŷŏǔ!"
"You would interrupt me?" My anger flared up. Mjolnir surged in power.
She emerged fully out of the lake, sauntering to solid ground. "...Perhaps I should teach you some manners, Lord Maegor will be addressed correctly, It seems….violent reinforcement will have to do." Her right arm flashed out in an instant and a whip formed from the air. "You face a Primarch, Asgardian. Primarch of Sensation, Goddess of Rot and Lord Maegor's right hand. Prepare yourself."
