"The guy is you Blake" a tear ran down my cheek and into the ice cream. I studied him but he seemed paralyzed he had nothing to say. I knew I shouldn't of said anything.
I got up to leave as the tears started trailing down my cheek. He pulled my wrist and sit back down
"Avery you know I can't--" he said lowly. I don't know what he was feeling, it was there just I haven't seen it. He was going to reject me
Why not ride me over with a bus while you at it.
"I know I am sorry, I just thought -" he cut me off.
"I just don't want to hurt you" he looked away.
I was ready die like my four fathers.
"But" he said in the silence.
There's a 'but'. There's never a but, not in the books. What's going on
"I already have these two movie tickets, I was supposed to go with Catherine but we didn't get that far, and I don't want it to go to waste" he looked away from me, looking like he was gonna regret what he was about to do
"What are you asking?" I looked at him searching his face with my watery eyes.
"I asking if you'd like to go with me to the movies but just as friends" he finally said.
And it felt like a glass splinter ripping through me. But you know how the story goes of a once hopelessly devoted girl. She says yes anyway even though she shouldn't but deep down inside there was that something that made all that dumb blinded decisions for her.
Yes I am that hopelessly devoted girl.
"I would like too" I smiled.
I wasn't going to turn up on an opportunity to go out with the guy I like, even if he doesn't feel the same way.
"I will pick you up at 8 tomorrow night"

"So what you are saying. He rejected you but ask you out" Amelia paced up and down in my room.
After Blake left I called her and she came as quick as she could. She didn't even bother using the front door, she came through the window.
"Yes" I said, laying the bed staring at the ceiling.
"Why did say yes" she groaned.
"I don't know" I cried
"So what are you going to do" she breathed out putting her hands on her hips.
"Go to the movie and see how everything plays out" I balanced on my elbows,with a grin
She just gave me a look and I fall back onto the bed
"Yes you right, it's a bad idea" I pulled a pillow over my face and screamed into it. "I need you help Amelia"
"Okay, I say you go" she gave up on me and my hopelessness.
"I don't know what to do, to wear. I am going to embrace myself like some dumb bitch"
Welcome to dumb bitch town.
"I will put in an ear peace and talk to through. And I will sit behind in the you" she pulled me up by both my arms. "You going to do this"
"I don't know what I would do without you" I jumped up and hugged her.
"You'd definitely be lost without me" she whispered into my ears.
I pulled away from her body.
"Call Daniel, I feel like we haven't seen him in a while"
She looked at me as if I was crazy. It was dark out, his probably asleep.
"Fine" I rolled my eyes. "Let me just order a pizza"
I grabbed my phone dialing the pizza place and ordered one plain cheese and one Hawaiian pizza.
Amelia and I talked about other things to pass time.
"Avery the pizza is here" Justin shouted from downstairs.
Amelia and I ran downstairs before my brother ate it up before we all could.
While we came down the stairs Justin looked at me than at Amelia.
"Don't you have a house" he asked Amelia
"Hello dickhead" he jumped onto the stool next to him.
I looked at the both of them from the opposite side of the island.
"Amelia you grow boobs yet" Justin said scanning her chest area.
Her jaw dropped and she looked at him lifting her eyebrows. "How about you, your dick grow"
"I mean seeing is believing" he wink and smirked at here.
"I think I am going to throw up" I gagged. Listening to your best friend and brother talk to each other like that is just disgusting. "If you going to fuck, don't do it in the house"
"Says the virgin" Amelia scoffed.
I widened my eyes at her. "And you aren't one, whose the scumbag that book it"
"I won't tell you" she laughed grabbing a slice of pizza.
"Oh really" I grabbed a glass of water and threw it on her.
"If you guys are going to fight, don't get me wet" Justin warned us.
Amelia cursed looking at me and then her wet shirt.
"You dead" she got up and ran around the table filling a glass with water. I tried running away but she chased me as well, getting me wet.
"Fuck sake" I said shaking my top that was drenched.
"Whose going to mop" Justin looked at us.
"I will, but with your face" Amelia walked over the Justin and he scurried away in a hurry.
