An Easy Win

The wolves and vampires leaped at eachother and collided head on with some wolves taking some vampires out and the vampires taking some wolves down. As Eric instructed, Connor, Ethan and Kent formed a back three to guard the vampires from escaping the area or getting behind the other wolves and helping anyone of their comrades in trouble once in a while. The others fought bravely against the vampires which put up a real good fight just like Miranda predicted. Eric had three vampires on his back and he had to handle them like a pro. The first jumped at his head trying to hold him down but he turned and slapped him away into the trees while one rushed him from the side pushing him into the ground exposing his underbelly. Eric quickly sunk his claws into his flesh and pulled him to his mouth to deliver the final blow crushing his skull. The third try to pull a fast one but landed in the mouth of Eric as if it were rehearsed and then was thrown into Armin's face and engaging with other vampires roaming.

The battle veteran knockout was finding it relatively easy as she pulled heads out and decapitated the new borns. She had the backing of her team as they covered her anytime one flew in from on high and you'll occasionally see with Connor or Mary jumping up and latching onto anyone that flew in the air. She grabbed the last vampire by the leg and flung him into a rock snapping his neck and then she could set her eyes on the pure breeds that just watched. She walked slowly towards them barking at Armin to get his attention. They laughed once they saw her approaching and he turned around and faced his old rival and looked at her in the eye. One vampire tried to attack Knockout from the back but she kicked him with her hind leg in the ribcage crushing it's bones causing internal injuries. That must've been one hell of a kick to break their concrete hard bones. She growled at him making her intention clear to him and he looked at her with a grin on his face as the two would pick up the fight they left of thirty years ago. Armin charged at her and she at him and then Armin gave her a strong uppercut and sent her flying through the air. What a start to their reunion. She quickly shook it off and engaged him once again.

With Miranda having a battle with Armin the other wolves dough off the other vampires. Kent found himself handicapping most of his vampire opponents rather than killing them as their usually missed a limb. He enjoyed ripping out an arm or leg and hearing them scream, some would die after losing a lot of blood, be killed by another member of the pack, be killed randomly or escape from the battle field with their lives nearly hanging by a thread. Brent was living up to his mother's name as he dodged attacks expertly, implored tactics with Mary in taking down vamps and the two got along really well on the battlefield. They especially liked sharing kills as Brent would injure it then throw it to Mary to finish it off or the other way around or kill it at once like when Brent bit down on an arm and Mary took a leg and they yanked in opposite directions splitting the body in half. Keisha and her mom fought back to back making the second pair of the fight with their mother daughter bond came in handy as they acted like a well oiled machine without saying words as they destroyed their opponents. Brian and William on the other hand were having a competition on who killed the most in the fight as they kept a record of their kills. With Brian scoring four and William had three. The three at the back didn't have that much action as they whiled away time with one or two vampires that came their way. The formation the wolves had was a back three guarding their backs, Kent ahead of them before the three pairs took most of the vampires and Eric and Miranda lead the assault. Once the pure bloods noticed that their expendables were running low they decided to step in. Three of the six reinforcements walked into the battle field with a sense of pride and the wolves decoded that they would be harder to kill than the others. William decided to try his luck and came in for a bite but was thrown away by a side kick to the joy that dazed him for a while.

"These stupid wolves think they're so strong. I don't think anyone here can lay a scratch on me" One lamented which seemed to aggravate all of them as it looked as if all their hairs were standing now.

Connor jumped in seeing if he could take on him with a surprise attack trying to buy some time for William but another vampire punched him away cracking two ribs that healed within a minute or so. Connor, Kent, And Ethan then formed a wall to protect William.

"Hold the line, protect the beta. Don't let them get to him!" Connor instructed with fire in his voice and eyes. Connor had always wanted to protect his loved ones though he hardly ever showed it so it was really a rare sight to see him become aggressive.

"Roger that" Kent and Ethan chorused.

The three vampires smiled as they walked up to the three. Like a well coordinated team they attacked at once with smirks on their face and ran towards them. Connor barked at the other two obviously giving orders and moral before they engaged. One thing that gave the wolves an edge over the vampires was they telepathic link that they used to communicate allowing them to give instructions and coordinate themselves without the vampires getting to know what they're talking about. With three vamps in coming they ran towards them but had another plan up their sleeve, Keisha, the over protective girlfriend that won't let anything happen to William. Once the vampires got tunnel vision from their speed, Keisha flew through the air like a cannonball hooking a vamp right into her mouth and the two rolled on the grass and moss while they exchanged blows, bites, and slashes. The other three engaged the other two who never suspected that one would appear from nowhere. Kent and Ethan too one one pure blood and an enraged Connor took on one solo. William gradually regained consciousness and staggered up to his feet and saw his mates fighting for him, he immediately got mixed feelings and got into the fight leaping in the air latching on to the vampire that was punching the crap out of Connor who got up and helped out in the fight. Keisha got herself into a tricky situation when she went in for a bite and got her snout into an elbow lock. The pure bloods were obviously more deadly and way stronger than their half brothers and sisters as she would easily break out of their hold but not with the pure ones. While she tried to get out, she whined and scratched the vampire who was unharmed by her attempts and then he elbowed the back of her neck which made her whines increase reaching the ear of an angry William. Immediately his emotions kicked in and he left the vampire he and Connor fought and went in to save her. She was then given a German suplex into a rock which made it crumble and she wailed in pain. With the vampire standing over an injured Keisha, he went in for the kill as he planned on snapping her neck but again he didn't account for her other half who leaped in at the right time before he got a grip on her neck. He flipped him as the two rolled on the floor again but William fought harder than ever with anger leading him on and he bit wherever his teeth could sink into and his claws tore open his back. The vampire fought back with all his strength landing punch after punch to his head but it won't help him against a determined William who pulled out his two arms that spewed out blood like a tap. With this condition in William's favour, he got a good grip on his head and pulled it out from his body and when all the rolling stopped, his body was left on the ground motionless and headless with his head in William's mouth. This infuriated the other pure bloods as they were clearly angry and their facial expressions changed from calm and collective to enraged and blood boiling. William capitalised on their blind rage to make them irrational decisions. Will dropped the head within his jaws and gave a motivating howl to the rest of the wolves and it seemed to charge the others with them putting in more effort into chasing the run aways and fighting valiantly when engaged in combat. Armin now looked worried as Miranda was now better at dodging his attacks and was landing good bites and blows.

The three that were now pissed off ran towards Will who stood in place like a statue. Once they got withing stricking distance, Eric, Brian and Brent leaped from behind surprising them and taking them to the ground. The vampires were not short on numbers and were on the verge of losing the pure bloods that came with them. Soon enough, Armin called for a tactical retreat which forced them to run away tail in-between their legs. The vampires then threw out titanium smashing punches that sent Eric, Brian, Brent and Miranda flying through the air like soccer balls kicked aimlessly around. Once they regrouped, the took off quickly disappearing into the forest as the wolves stood up to their feet quickly. Brian and Brent followed them on Eric's orders to know where they came from. They then turned their attention to Keisha who layed on the floor in her human form now and was clearly in pain. Connor and Kent had to protect her for the rest of the fight after that German suplex. The ground was also littered with bodies of dead vampires that would turn to Dust in a few minutes time. William, Linda and Eric rushed to her side as the two parents were now in a pandemonium. William quickly picked her up and jumped on Kent's back which made his knees bend down by the new addition of weight on his back. He instinctively beaded straight for her house with William telling him to step on it every now and then. He was also escorted by the rest of the pack back to the house. Kent was strong but wasn't that fast to compensate for his bulkiness.

On the other hand, the vampires also suffered a loss which included more than half of their new born army and two pure bloods to William, Ethan and Kent. From twenty five, they had dropped to ten and they came back with disappointment weighing down on their shoulders. Armin and the others were walking back into their cave with their heads down and silence around them but they were stopped in their tracks by an Angry Vladimir.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" he cried from the darkness. He stood up and walked towards with the heel of his shoes hitting the rocky floor the only sounds heard through the cave.

"You've disgraced the coven, all of you. I sent you out with twenty five men, twenty five, to take on eleven mere wolves. How didn't you beat the hell out of them" He said angrily. Armin was about to speak before being slapped by Vladimir right out of the cave.

"Don't make an excuse for your failure!" Exclaimed Vladimir.

"All of you out, out!! I don't want to see your here tonight so get out!"

The vampires went out of the cave and met up with Armin who had dislocated his arm from that hit.

"Tasha!!" Vladimir called as a long black haired and bright eyed young lady came rushing out of the cave with black jeans, black shirt, leather jacket and boots and stood in front of him.

"You're know in charge of the scouting unit. Armin is now under your command" Vladimir said before storming away from them in anger.

She walked to the entrance of the cave and yelled.

"I'm now in charge of the scouting unit Armin, no more orders from you anymore"

This angered him the more as he looked for ways to get back to the too as they put his arm back in place. This seemed to expose more about the rivalry within the coven and it's hierarchy.

While they went through their own troubles, they were unaware that they were followed by Brian and Brent who watched through the bushes and covered by the shade produced by the trees. They slowly retreated back to the house to give their report.

The house was put on edge by Keisha's condition and it was worse on William. The boys tried to comfort him the best they could but nothing seemed to make him feel better. Soon Miranda came in calling for William as Keisha requested for him. Once William showed up, they gave the two some space to talk.

"I'm so glad you're okay" William said as he held her hand tightly thankful to God that she was okay.

"I'm glad to see your face again" Keisha remarked with a heart warming smile.

"So what's wrong? You gonna be back on your feet soon?"

"Well, what Miranda and my mom said that the hut shifted my spine out of place and they'll need to move it back into place. It's going to be a painful procedure but I can handle it"

"Wow, that's really serious"

"Yes. I'm going to rest for three days to get more strength to undergo the procedure so I'll be on a wheel chair."

"A wheel chair? I guess it's the only way you'll feel comfortable but I thought our fast healing would cover the injury?"

"Yes it would heal up but it would take a longer period of time to heal, about two weeks or so but once it's back in place, it would just take three days to heal" Keisha explained.

Before Will could reply, Connor stepped into the room waving at Keisha who layed down on the bed and whispered into William's ear and then stepped out.

"That seems to explain a lot. Well I hope you got better soon, I'll be back, rest well" Will said before giving her a peck on the forehead and leaving her to get her strength back up.

With the information gotten from the scouting mission from Brian and Brent, Eric called for a meeting to discuss the security issue and the battle that they'd just fought. The information would prove crucial moving on after this fight and could be the make it or break it point in their next encounter.
