Noah looked at the cafe in front of him.
Currently, he was nervous as he didn't exactly know how this worked. Did he go in and just ask for a card or something?
From a young age Noah never really did anything other than train. The reason for that was simple, the Winslow family was a key part of the Lupus clan. Thanks to his older brother being one of the elite 10 in the Player's Association his clan and the Winslow family itself were treated with respect even in the clan.
It was thanks to this that Noah was able to live in comfort. But this was a double-edged sword.
No one really wanted to be his friend well not a real friend at least. They would either try to befriend him due to his status or try and take advantage of him like make him pay for almost everything.
This caused Noah to develop a cold aura that was always on to make sure people stayed away from him.
But it was pretty lonely so he trained. However, today his sister restricted the training area and confiscated his weapons.
"Leave the house and just explore the city! Go to a gaming cafe or something!"
She had also given him some money. He knew most of his family worried for him but to force him not to train was ridiculous!
However, as he explored the city he noticed a gaming cafe which was something he had heard other youths in his clan talk about. While he wanted to go in he didn't know the process and he was a bit too shy to ask.
Thus he started to stare at it.
"Hey, why are you just standing there glaring at the door?" Hearing a voice Noah turned to see a grey-eyed youth looking at him as if he was witnessing something strange.
"Oh I uh…um w-was…"
'Damn, my shitty conversation skills!'
Internally cursing himself the boy then seemed to understand the situation "Ah is this you're first time here?"
Noah nodded
The youth nodded before he gestured for him to follow him. Entering the place Noah noticed that there were many computers that were occupied by youths the same age as them.
After helping Noah through the process he thanked the youth "Thank you,"
"No problem,"

Watching Noah leave I internally smiled in relief.
To be honest I kinda felt bad for the guy and also felt partially guilty for what happened.
Being a part of the Lupus clan and having a sibling that was extremely talented would put a lot of pressure on anyone. From a young age, he had to be the best because that's what other people said he had to be.
However, due to his family status having any real friends was off the table and he became cold to everyone as they would just try and suck off his family's wealth and status.
And I was the one who created his background meaning I was the one to blame here.
Turning my gaze to the receptionist lady I slid over the black card causing her eyebrows to be raised.
Taking the card she went under the desk before she handed me a white card with a golden symbol on it. It was the same as the one on the black card.
"Thanks,"
Taking the card I then made an account with the gaming cafe. Taking the other card I made my way to an open computer and scanned the card with the golden symbol on the scanner.
This card was a card used for the black market.
Unlike other novels where the black market is an open shop in my novel it is a website or to be more precise located in the card I scanned. There were many cafes in this city that use the black market system.
While you may think it'd make it easy for the Player's Association to find it you'd be dead wrong. The website is encrypted and even if they get the card and go on the website they can't just wage war against the black market as the shops and stalls are all over the city and appear at random times.
Also, it wasn't worth the fight with all the other criminal organizations that were operating.
I then searched around the website and found what I was looking for.
Clicking on a link I then opened a different tab where a conversation started.
—[How can we assist you?]
[I want a person by the name of Sparrow]
A reply didn't come back instantly but I waited. Then a reply with a link came allowing me to open another chat window.
—[What can I help you with?]
[I would like 2 things]
—[Have you seen my rates?]
[Yes I have]
After that reply, I started to tell him about the things I wanted.
First I wanted to invest in some companies that would blow up as well as some guilds. However, I wanted to invest in 2 Pacific guilds. The reason for that was that they would make contracts with demons causing their stocks to rise drastically.
Making a contract with the demons was considered treason as they would be loyal to the abyss.
Of course, if they make a contract with the demons they would slowly start to die but in exchange, they would be able to obtain extraordinary power. The reason that they would start dying was because of the abyss energy that was in their bodies.
It was violent and negative which their bodies couldn't handle. But there was a way to make sure that never happened and it was to eat an abyss seed.
These seeds were something that could only be found in the abyss but to be more precise they were located in places the abyss had conquered and they were rare too. Considering almost no life existed in the abyss nothing could grow or really live there. But when the abyss could conquer another realm it could corrupt the land allowing it to become stronger.
But in rare cases, some vegetation survives which allows some fruits to grow. And in those fruits grow seeds.
But anyway, the guild masters of both guilds would sign a contract with a demon allowing them greater power, however, thanks to some information from their demons their guilds would rise through the ranks.
This would also mean their stock would rise.
Thankfully I still had that separate bank account that Elena didn't know about where my money from investing in the other guilds was.
Also considering I was going to pull my shares before they got caught would make it suspicious. So I did this to avoid that situation.
—[What is your second request?]
[Find all the information you can on a person by the name of Arthur Irwin]
Yes, this person was the one I was talking about. Despite currently working in the black market in 5 years or so he'd establish his own company and become extremely successful.
In reality, his name was Lucius de Vere. In the novel, he was just a side character and met Isaac after Isaac helped with his bullying situation. From there Isaac sees how much of an asset he could be.
He is also pretty good at it too. The guy probably also could probably figure out when I lost my first tooth.
—[that can be done]
After a bit, I logged off and headed out of the cafe "Well let's start training"
Now my next goal was to master the magnetic fields by the end of the week.
