"And here I thought a remote village like this would be spared from them."
"Why wouldn't they be here?" Kaiser chimed in, offering an explanation. "It's the perfect place for them. Most adventurers around here are young and just starting their journeys."
"Actually," he continued, "I've sensed their presence several times since we arrived, but they never seemed to come close, so I didn't bother mentioning it."
Curious about the term "Poachers," Karna was about to ask the system for an explanation, but Kaiser unexpectedly explained the term to him.
"They're a small organization that purchases goods acquired by adventurers, such as game and materials, and then sells these products directly to affluent clientele, including wealthy aristocrats and noble houses."
Inquiring further, Karna asked, "Is that wrong or illegal?"
