Chapter 14:

About an hour later we walked up on a river. Ash let my hand go, and I kept walking, smiling, from ear to ear. It's beautiful. There are beautiful green trees everywhere, but the river is tree free. It's lined with huge river rocks. It's like the river serves as a bordering line for something. There is a mountain on this side of the river off in the distance. I see white dragons flying around; they almost blend in with the white pillowy clouds. I walked over to the edge and looked back "it is safe to swim." But my question was answered by him stripping along the way about to jump in. I strip out of my clothes and jump in behind him laughing. We both swim around and laugh and just hang out. I feel free with him around, like I can do or be anything I want. We swam until we were tired and had to take a break. We are laying by the river in the tall grass.

"This place is so beautiful. How does a place like this exist?" I asked looking around the more I looked the prettier it gets.

"There are quite a few places like this in my territory." He said in a matter of fact way.

I smiled, "I'd love to see some of them sometime."

"You will have plenty of time to see them all, baby." He said, smiling back at me. He ran his finger tips down the edge of my face and cupped my jaw. I'm laying on my back with him above me. After a minute I couldn't hold back any more. I lean up and kiss him on the lips passionately. He kisses me back hard immediately moving more on top of me. I may have teased him for 3 years, but he's the only man that's ever made me feel like this. Ever. I break the kiss trailing my fingers down his chest. Tracing his hard lines. We're still naked from the swim.

"I love you Octavia." He said reaching over where his clothes were and grabbed something out of his pocket. He pulled out a small box and opened it. In it was a beautiful white gold necklace, with a beautiful purple gem. "I'd like for you to wear this at the pack acceptance for you to be crowned Luna Queen."

I'm at a loss of words while he's putting the necklace on me. He helps me to a sitting position and reaches around and collapses it around my neck. "I know it will match your luna eyes beautifully during the ceremony."

I smiled at him, then I suddenly wrapped my arms around his neck, then looked him in the eye. "Yes I will '' I kissed him on the lips as a silent thank you.

"I was hoping you would like it." He said, smiling at me. "It's beautiful on you."

I gasp sharply, and say. "Luna" trying it out. It felt funny saying it. I gave a funny looking face to him and Ash laughed.

"You don't like the title?" He asked.

"Just doesn't feel right saying." I said honestly, and truth be told, I really don't think I'm Luna material.

"It should never come out of your mouth comfortably. You should never have to address another woman with it because you are Queen of all of them. Even other Luna's need to bow to you." He said very seriously.

I looked him in the eyes. "I love you too Ash." I gave him a grin, and pushed him down. I got up and ran for the water. My feet barely got wet before he was on me. He pounced on my back and rolled us to where I landed on him at the edge of the water.

I laugh at the situation. I'm on top of him with my back to him. It was a funny tackle. Cute as well how he caught me. "Where do you think you're going, my queen?" He growled sexily in my ear. I smiled, it's a perfect moment. In the perfect place. With a perfect setting. It's wonderful. I roll and face him. My breast is pressed to his chest now.

"Oh I'm sorry, did I knock you down?" He asked, wiggling his brows playfully. I slap his chest playfully. I look into those bright blue eyes. They are so beautiful. They tell a story. A quiet story nobody else gets, just him and me. Of love and a family.

I extend my wings. "I bet I can beat you to our bed." I challenge him.

"Which bed? We have 3, remember?"

Damn. I'm going to have to figure out which bed I was talking about. At the same time I said "The Cabin" a siren went off.

We both jumped up, hearts pounding. Getting dressed fast "There's an attack at the pack house!" Ash said, walking toward his shoe. Then out of nowhere I get snatched up by, no other than, Orpheus.

"I'm tired of your shit." I said as I kicked him in the balls mid air.

"Fuck" Orpheus yelled. "Will you be still so we can go home?"

"No, I don't want to go anywhere with you." I yelled in his face. I punched him in the gut. He almost completely let go. Almost.

"Ash! Damon!" I yelled knowing both of them had my back! I kick and scream. If he kidnaps me, it's gonna be worth his while, because I'm going to fight the whole way there. I head butted him out of nowhere. He grabbed his nose with his free hand. Orpheus looked at me with murderous eyes. "You will come with me and be my queen. Now stop! You were promised to me under a soul contract." He said getting closer to my face. Were are too high in the air for Damon or Ash to get me.

Orpheus suddenly looked away bouncing off the top of the trees. I kicked him in his shin for good measure. He didn't like that either. He howled in pain again, never letting me go, not even for a second.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

"I will do no such thing." He said "who else would I marry there? Certainly not my mate. She won't give me a strong heir. Not like you could."

I elbowed him in the face, and screamed "Damon!!! Ash!!!!!" I look down and I don't see them, anywhere. Is it possible that Orpheus out flew Damon running? Why can't Orpheus just leave me alone?

"Calm down." Orpheus grunted.

"I will never willingly go with you, ever." I say with tears in my eyes. "I hate you! I always have."

He almost looks hurt. Then I saw his grin. Then he gave me this God awful look. "Then you will give me an heir and die, at my hands, the minute the baby is born. You were promised to me so I'd have an heir. You are mine by right until I get my heir. I don't care who has tried to stake a claim on you. You are mine. Always will be!"

"Fuck you. I'll never stop trying to get away from you. You have foul breath, you're a horrible person. You need to be put down, Orpheus before you hurt someone. You need to give up the crown. You are not worthy of it." I say with a growl. Orpheus looks so livid. Good. I thought with a smile on my face.

"When we get there trust me your going straight to the dungeons. You will be bathed and brought to my chambers when I'm ready for you. When I'm done with you, you'll be hanged. For your adultery with another man other than your rightful mate. I will make sure you suffer until you die. You will not have it easy with me. I don't care if you're willing or not. I'll take what I want from you. You and your little wolf will not get the best of me again. Count on that. Now shut up for the rest of the ride." With that he kept going.

I tried one more attempt to get away. I elbowed him in his stomach, punched him in the face, and before I could kick him in the balls, Orpheus hit me with something in the back of my head, I saw stars.

All I could think was, Damon helped me. Just before I bl

acked out I heard in my head, Baby I'm coming to get you he's not going to get away with this, it sounded like Ash, then I blacked out.
