"The Battle of the Yin Spirit: Alex's Final Showdown with the Evil Priest"

For the first time, Alex's face displayed a stern expression as he faced the evil priest, the strongest enemy he had encountered on his journey. The priest's ability to control the yin spirit (ghosts/evil spirits) posed a major threat, and Alex knew he had to be careful, or risk being defeated. Without hesitation, Alex used his spiritism technique to summon the ghoul and signalled to Erza, who was in the corner, to find an opportunity to escape on her own.

Erza, who was clever, understood the situation and did not insist on staying with Alex. Seeing that the giant man was not paying attention to her, she quickly ran towards the window and jumped out, landing on the ground with a loud noise.

Despite the pain from her injuries, Erza knew she had not broken any bones and, as an apprentice knight, was determined to find help. She realized that Alex, although strong, would not be able to defeat the giant man who seemed almost like a monster. Determined to find rescue, Erza knew that if Alex were to die trying to save her, she would feel guilty for the rest of her life.

Erza was trying to escape when a fierce battle broke out behind her. The sounds of gunfire and ghouls roared, as well as the rage of a strong man. The battle lasted for several minutes, causing chaos on the second floor of the unfinished villa. Several ghouls were killed, and one body was turned into a pile of flesh by a powerful force.

However, this battle also revealed the weakness of the firearms and skeleton soldiers, as they were unable to effectively attack their enemies. Alex realized that they needed to find a way to increase the attack power of these weapons, or they would be useless. He considered using enchanted cannons controlled by multiple skeleton soldiers but knew that it would be a challenge to get them to work together.

As Alex arrived at the centre of the battle, he saw that the only remaining enemy was a headless corpse of a powerful, evil being that stood over two meters tall and was as strong as a demon beast. The corpse was lying next to a ghoul whose left arm was bent at a strange angle and covered in corrosive black liquid.

The liquid was causing the flesh to turn into thick water at a visible rate. The ghoul was holding a large head in its right hand, which had a visible, irregular wound at the neck and a half-severed vertebra hanging below. The head had been pulled from the body like a radish.

Alex was extremely fortunate to have obtained this hard-skinned ghoul during the previous battle. If he had not hidden this strongest combat power at the beginning, when the battle was the most critical, the enemy would have had the upper hand and thought they would win the game.

Alex launched a sneak attack from the back and quickly hugged the back of the neck of the evil priest, using claws bless with high attack power to cut into the flesh of the evil priest, cut off its muscles, and pull out its head.

However, even so, the evil priest almost killed the crusty ghoul at the end. The hard-skinned ghoul with residual blood had only half its life left and would have died in a few minutes if it had been annoyed and allowed the black gas to corrode it. Alex did not want this to happen and quickly returned the ghoul to the cemetery, inputting psionic energy to repair the injury.

At the same time, the black gas attached to the wound of the crusty ghoul also belonged to the power of the Void Yin Spirit and entered the cemetery, where it was directly transformed into spiritual energy and absorbed by the cemetery.

Alex felt a sense of relief wash over him as he watched the Void Yin Spirits being inhaled into the cemetery. He had been worried that it might be dangerous to do so, but it seemed that the presence of these spirits in the mysterious cemetery was inconsequential.

After the crusty ghoul vanished, the head of the evil priest fell to the ground and rolled to Alex's feet with a loud thud. Alex bent down to pick it up, a smile appearing on his face as he remembered the prompt from the cemetery that appeared in his mind: " the body of an extraordinary creature is found, do you want to absorb its psionic energy?" Alex, without hesitation, chose "Yes,"

just as he had absorbed magic items in the past. A ray of light spilled out from the head and flowed into Alex's hand, turning the head into powder that scattered on the ground. As Alex gazed upon the cemetery, his eyes shone with excitement. He had only recently gained a measly six points of psionic energy by defeating two demon worm parasites, but this time, just one head yielded a whopping 128 points.

Excitedly, Alex set to work cleaning up the battlefield. The most valuable finds were the headless corpse sacrificed to the evil god and the bodies of Boaz and Orson, which Throck and Young Henry had also dispatched. Alex carefully placed each corpse on the ground, adhering to the principle that even the smallest mosquito is worth collecting.

These bodies, along with the four sacrificed by the evil god, totalled 472 points. Boaz and Orson contributed an additional 114 and 156 points, respectively, while Throck and Young Henry added 46 and 37 points. In total, the cemetery now contained enough spirits to reach 998 points, approaching the thousand-point mark once again after constructing the crypt.
