"Erza's Encounter with a Tower of Yin Spirits"

Alex used his undead vision to determine that the direction in which Dou Qi had gone was towards the Upper Town, an area with heavy patrols. Alex thought to himself that if Erza had encountered someone from the Tower of Yin spirits and he or she escaped to the Upper Town after being injured, it was possible that they were being helped by someone living in the upper city, where the wealthy and noble residents lived.

This could explain why the Tower of Yin Spirits was able to remain hidden so effectively, although Alex did not know who was helping cover for them. Alex discovered that Dou Qi had headed in the direction of the Upper Town, a place with a lot of patrols, using his undead vision.

Alex reasoned that if Erza had come into contact with one of the Tower of Yin spirits and the individual had been hurt and managed to flee to the Upper Town, it was probable that they were receiving assistance from someone residing in the upper city, where the wealthy and aristocratic citizens lived. Alex did not know who was providing cover for the Tower of Yin Spirits, but this would explain how they were able to conceal themselves so well.

As Alex continued to track the signs of vindictiveness, he left Novak Street and entered Uptown. In the southeast corner of the upper city, there was a large wasteland that used to belong to a wealthy businessperson who planned to build a luxury residence. However, the businessperson suddenly left PARSLOV City for some reason and left behind an unfinished building on the land. The property rights still belonged to the businessperson, so the PARSLOV City government had no right to interfere and could only watch as the abandoned land became overgrown with weeds.

Erza finally made her way into this deserted yard in response to the signs of retaliation. While this was happening, the housekeeper from GOLDERT Castle informed Viscount Ashby, who then invited Dr. Fauci and led six apprentice knights out on horseback.

The local Special Bureau of PARSLOV City, along with individuals dispatched by the Northwest Provincial General Bureau, would be sufficient to deal with the shrivelled Tower of Yin Spirits, according to Viscount Ashby, who also rode in a carriage to the city hall to request reinforcements from the mayor.

By scaling the wall, Alex reached the deserted yard in PARSLOV City and ordered two ghouls and three skeleton soldiers to take cover among the weeds. He observed the signs of a recent combat, including blood and fighting qi. Because there was an additional earth-type Dou QI present, Alex reasoned that Erza might have run into problems and that the opponent probably had reinforcements.

He called forth more skeleton soldiers to guard him, then approached the incomplete structure with caution. He entered to discover a room that was piled high with trash and what appeared to be a large number of homeless individuals who had been using it as a shelter but had since left. Alex had a hunch that the Tower of Yin Spirits had offered them as sacrifices.

Alex walked up the stairs of the Unfinished Building and saw a tall, thin man in a black trench coat and a fat old man covered in blood confronting Erza, who was holding a knight sword and had a wounded left shoulder. The two men had a smirk on their faces and a hint of lewdness. Erza looked despairing, as she had little actual combat experience and was struggling to break free from the situation.

However, when she saw Alex walking up the stairs, her eyes lit up and she tried to hide her excitement. The tall and fat men were experienced and vigilant, and quickly noticed Alex despite his efforts to conceal his presence.

"Who!" The tall and thin man turned his head and shouted loudly, aiming his revolver at Alex while still holding a dagger pointed at Erza. The fat old man also glanced over and prepared a water-based Dou QI water bomb technique, ready to respond in any direction. Alex sneered at the tall and thin man's gun and stopped at the stairs, saying, "Two extraordinary people from the Tower of Yin Spirits, but they bully a girl together. This is not the behaviour of a gentleman."

Upon hearing that Alex had named the Tower of Yin Spirits, the two men's expressions changed, and they glared at Alex with a strong murderous intent. "Ha-ha, it seems that there is another one seeking death. I'll send you on your way first," the tall and thin man chuckled before suddenly pulling the trigger.

A gunshot rang out, but it missed its target as a skeleton soldier suddenly appeared in front of Alex. The bullet could not penetrate the Armor defence of the upgraded firearm skeleton soldier because there was no Dou QI between them. The tall and thin man was surprised to see this and realized that Alex must be an apprentice of a necromancer, which explained why he was bold enough to come and save someone.

The tall and thin man then released a grey halo from his body, which covered his revolver and caused it to emit Dou QI runes. At this moment, a scream came from the next room: "Alex, it really is you, you are not dead!" Upon hearing this, the tall and thin man hesitated to pull the trigger and looked in the direction of the sound. Alex recognized the two people who walked out as acquaintances, one named throck and the other named henry, who had previously tried to stab him and abandoned him in the wilderness.

Alex noticed that throck and henry had changed and now had an evil aura emanating from them, which he recognized as coming from the Yin Spirit. This aura was consuming their vitality but was also giving them temporary extraordinary power. It was clear that they had become victims of the Yin Spirit and, while they had not yet died, they would not survive for much longer.

Additionally, it appeared that they were oblivious of their predicament and had just lately developed such strong skills. They were surprised to see Alex and were unaware that he had been revived. They had first joined a cult that belonged to one of the Tower of Yin Spirits' peripheral organisations, and because the Tower of Yin Spirits was losing strength, they had banded together with other peripheral organisations in PARSLOV City. The Yin spirits they worshipped were fed by the vitality. In front of them was a gigantic skull with black energy encircling it and black flames flickering in its eye sockets. They were both dressed in black robes resembling those of sacrificial priests.

"Throck, do you know him?" The tall and thin man asked. "Then I'll leave this person to the two of you. By the way, let me see the power that Lord Yin Ling has given you." Throck confidently claimed that he had enough power from the pope to defeat Alex and was not afraid of the skeleton soldiers in front of Alex.

But young Henry broke his word and screamed loudly, "Why are you by yourself? We must cooperate, the priest advised. Do you wish to claim personal merit?" Throck was enraged by Henry's shift in demeanour following the Yin spirit power, but he was aware that he could do nothing to stop Young Henry and could only scheme in secret to get revenge in the future.

Since they had unintentionally assisted him in entering this world, Alex was taken aback to encounter these two familiar faces. But because of their history together, Alex did not offer them leniency.
