The Mutant Siren

Humans seem simple. Mutants seem complicated. To humans, mutants are like gods. To mutants, humans don't understand the responsibility of power. In a world where half of the global population is made up of mutants, a myth becomes reality. One that has been passed down through the generations of mankind, human and mutant alike. It's always the most simple things that are complicated. (Revised Edition) (The universe in this book will be the basis of stories to come. There are sectors of mutants within themselves, like vampires, elementals and such. However, I don't wish to cram it all into one book. Hence this book hopes to explore mutants as a whole, and in particular, this myth that has become reality.)

Dark Tease

The next morning, Lee and Neo drove up to Hannah's mansion to pick her up then made their way to her HQ. The building she owned was beyond striking. Once you stepped into the foyer, there was a huge open space behind the welcome desk. Workers walked about, each doing a unique task that kept this place flowing. The brothers couldn't help but marvel at its grandeur.

What's more, Hannah seemed to command respect by her very presence. But the people didn't bow to her. They didn't stop to shake her hands every time they walked past her. A simple greeting was enough. It was like seeing power being wielded the right way.

Hannah took the boys up to her office and closed the door. Somehow, she looked even more striking in her couture 2-piece suit. Lee found it very difficult to turn away. Sure they were here on business, but business with the hottest spy in town was like trying to move a mountain. Even without perfume or makeup, she still had this aura of beauty somehow.

"Lee? Hey. Eyes are up here."

Lee blinked several times only to realise he'd been subconsciously focused on her cleavage. He felt pretty embarrassed.

"Sorry... Uh... Right. So. What'd you bring us here for? Made a profile?"

Hannah beckoned for him to speak quietly. She then enacted a security protocol.

"Juniper. Activate Imposter protocol."

"Activated."

The room suddenly went dark as the shutters drew over the windows and whatever cameras that were present were shut down. A soundproof panel came down over the windows, obscuring the light. Even though it was past high noon, one would have a hard time believing that if they ever saw the room.

The boys were surprised by this maneuver and sat deathly still. The only sound was their hearts and their breathing as Hannah deftly navigated the darkness to sit near them.

She knew they couldn't see that well in the dark, but she also knew Lee became a pile of mush around her. The way he became shy in her presence was almost brazen. They'd all gathered for a business meeting, but what was business without a little pleasure...

Lee could only hear footsteps around him as he sat still as a sculpture. The room was dark, so no one noticed Hannah trailing her finger on the left side of his neck. She could feel his blood pump faster as she moved her finger along his vein. He could feel her breath on his skin as it left a cool trail of goosebumps. She moved her head a little, letting her hair brush his neck.

Lee had to summon all his willpower not sigh with pleasure, at least not audibly. Not when he knew his overprotective brother was basically atoms away from him. Hannah seemed to know that, therefore took full advantage of it. One last tease wouldn't hurt, she smirked to to herself. In fact, that tease was almost unbearable, insatiable.

Lee couldn't see what she was doing but he sure could feel it. If her long fingernail was stroking his neck a few seconds ago, it certainly wasn't that high up now. A shiver went down his chest as it followed where her nail had scratched him... He felt her nip his ear slightly as she whispered, "We should so sneak away sometime. That feels pretty hard."

She moved her hand away and slipped back into the darkness.

Lee didn't want to respond aloud, but he knew he just couldn't leave it on such a cliffhanger. Somehow, he could feel Hannah's presence in his mind, albeit not an intrusive one. It was as if they were on the same wavelength. They could figure out what the other was feeling. He didn't know what this was, but it was the best way to play along with her incessant teasing.

"Next time I stumble in your room totally exhausted, heh. But... Let's get back to work?"

"Yeah. Good distraction, right?"

Lee couldn't respond. His face was flushed red with a mixture of lust and embarrassment. It was fun while it lasted, but he questioned just how long would he have to bear the teasing...

Maybe after they sort their work out? Maybe then...

Interesting. How are these 2 gonna solve anything with such a spark between them? And do they have telepathy or something?

And why the hell did she lockdown the room so dramatically....

Stay tuned ;)
