Chapter 25 Arrival

You thought it was dropped but it was I, HIATUS!

Well, let's just start with I am sorry. I am sorry this chapter got delayed so long this was mainly due to me having various ideas of the beginning of this volume, and then catching up on some work, and then I started online school. Also, I just ended up procrastinating but finally, I've got the will to do it again so hopefully we'll go back to the 2 chapters a day schedule.

Anyway, you've waited long enough, let's start the chapter.

Within a town, 4 people suddenly appeared but no one noticed as they want on with their daily lives. The 4 people all looked around in wonder as they looked up at the sky and their surroundings.

"Why are there so many, bubbles?" Eri asked as she looked at the sky. "And what's with all these massive trees?" Kai asked as he looked around.

"I said we'd be going to another world didn't I?" Jin stated as he smirked. 'We made it, to the world of adventure, the world of One Piece.' Jin thought as he looked around with a smile.

Izuku on the side was stunned. 'He never told me that he had such an ability, and who was that old man? What is all this?!' Izuku thought in shock. Before he hadn't had time to process this but now he was amazed.

"I know you probably all want answers but first let's go somewhere more secluded." Jin said as he motioned for them to fall him.

As they walked through town Eri, Kai and Izuku grew more confused.

"Have you heard those Straw Hats have done something even crazier. I hope they don't arrive soon."

"I am more scared of the Eustass Captain Kid, that man will kill us all!"

"Don't forget about that ridiculous Surgeon of Death Trafalgar D. Law."

"All I know is those pirates arrival means bad times for all of us."

The crowds muttered as they walked by. 'Pirates? Pirates went "extinct" for the most part long ago.' Kai thought. 'Then again have we gone to the past, but that doesn't make sense, look at those trees, those bubbles, no such place exists on Earth. Or is this an alternate Earth with such an island?' Kai thought as he looked around inquisitively.

Once they reached Grove 28 and the number of people nearby lessened Jin began to explain.

"I am sure you all know that we're in another world by now, but you probably don't know exactly what world we're in. To put it simply we're in a world of pirates. Specifically in the Great Pirate Era." Jin said matter of factly as he looked at them.

"Another world?" Eri asked in confusion. Hearing this Jin patted her on the head. "You'll understand when you grow up." Jin said as she pouted a bit but didn't say anything.

"But, why go to a world of pirates, what's the point? Didn't you want to get stronger?" Izuku asked curiously as he continued to look around. 'I have to write this all in a journal.' Izuku thought as his eyes shined.

"Well, this isn't a world like our own. In this world, there is a place called the Grand Line it's divided into 2 parts Paradise, and the New World. Currently, we're at the end of Paradise, in the Sabaody Archipelago. This doesn't really matter but for context, the Great Pirate Era began about 20 years ago with the death of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger. He said that he left his treasure at the end of the Grand Line and because of that, tons of pirates began to sail the seas." Jin said as Kai nodded and Izuku focused on Jin interested in what he had to say. Eri though, was just confused, she was still very young after all.

Jin waited a bit before then continuing. "You got all that? Well great. Apart from that, there's an organization called the World Government they control the Marines which is like the Police. The problem with them though is some of it is corrupt, you'll understand in due time and if you meet some pirates you might also understand they're not all bad, some of them are even good people."

"Ahh, I get it, so the pirates sail towards the end of the Grand Line and the Marines stop them." Izuku said as he hit his fist onto his palm. "Mhm, but it can't be that simple, right? Or else one side would have won by now, right?" Kai said as he looked at Jin.

"Indeed, in fact, Pirates and Marines don't directly oppose each other, it's just that their interests clash. The World Government doesn't want a new Pirate King to rise because or else their power will begin to shake, while the Pirates want the title for fame, power, or simply because it's their dream. There is a group called the Revolutionaries though which directly oppose the World Government and the Marines." Jin explained.

"Okay I got that, but this doesn't explain why you brought us here? I don't even know who this guy is yet or that little girl." Izuku said as he gestured at Kai.

"Oh, well that's Kai, my friend I guess. And that girl is my, sister, no daughter? I don't know all you really need to know is her name's Eri." Jin said before continuing.

"And I am getting to it. This world is full of strong people, the strongest man here can probably destroy an island in one punch and they don't have quirks. There are also a myriad of races such as Fish-Men, Minks, and Skypieans with their various traits. There are also fruits called Devil Fruits which give people a mystical quirk-like ability, you could say, which can give you special properties such as being a Rubber man." Jin finished off as Izuku look at Jin in bewilderment.

"H-How is that possible?" Kai said as he looked at Jin in curiosity. "I am not exactly sure but I think it has to do with the world itself, apart from that I have to tell you the last few things. Firstly on the trees, you can see numbers, those represent the groves, groves 1-29 is the lawless zone, where pirates gather. Secondly, although Devil Fruits sound strong and all they have a major weakness, seawater. For our world, it may not seem like much but for this world, it's a terrible weakness. Last but not least, under any circumstances, you're not to offend those called Celestial Dragones." Jin finished as he looked at them seriously.

"Mhm." "Okay." "Tch, fine." They replied one after the other as Jin sighed in relief. "Now let's go make some money. Kai, come with me." Jin said as he gestured at Kai. "By the way, if you wouldn't mind Izuku could you walk around the groves with Eri?" Jin asked.

"Sure I don't mind." Izuku said. "But later you have to get me a journal." Izuku continued before trying to hold Eri's hand. "Let's look around town then." Izuku said as he crouched down. "Mhm." Eri replied before taking Izuku's hand.

With that, they began to walk off before Jin shouted "Oh and make sure that under no circumstances, she touches anything without her gloves on." Jin said as he also walked off.

"Wait why?" Izuku asked but Jin gave no reply. Soon though Eri opened her mouth. "Things go away if I touch them." She said as they continued walking. 'W-What the? I am too young for this shit.' Izuku thought as he cried a bit on the inside.

While this was happening Jin was currently walking across the groves with Kai. "This world, it's just as bad as the last one!" Kai snarled as they continued walking. "He." Jin snickered as they continued walking.

"Let me ask you a question if you could get the strength and speed of the people in this world, wouldn't you be able to beat anyone in your world? What if you get a Devil Fruit on top of that? And what if I were to tell you there are 2 more acquirable abilities which can enhance your speed strength and reflexes?" Jin said as Kai understood more and more.

"So what's your plan after all? You act like a hero, but also a villain, you have no clear goal apart from getting stronger, yet you brought me along with you instead of throwing me out when you were done with me. What is it that you want?" Kai asked.

"I want to, win a tournament, and you're a useful asset." Jin said as Kai looked at him dumbfounded.
