After Arianell and Seth left, the procession started to move again.

"Do you think it's just as bad as they reported? It's just a parade to celebrate our victory, right?" Vincent asked around but no one could answer him.

Luan was on the gloomy side again since he had no choice but to entrust her to Seth. Hopefully, they will meet with no mishap and get to the mansion before it is too dark.

Since the commander was in a bad mood, the knights couldn't show their excitement openly. All of them risked their lives to protect the kingdom's prosperity, and now they finally had a chance to taste the sweet fruit of their hard work.

Some even decided to change into their official navy uniform with silver sewing, as they felt more at ease dressed up properly.

"Who knows, maybe you will get a chance to find a wife for yourself," one of the knights laughed heartily.

"You think so?" Another one asked. "All of the women's eyes will be on commander anyway…"
