Solar walked out of the room the moment she said that, pressing her temples over and over again. "We'll all meet tonight and talk. We need to make a plan."
And she is gone in no time, leaving Altair and me alone in the living room.
For a couple of seconds, no one said a single word. Soon, Altair turned to me, smiling. "Was that a little heavy for you?"
"Do you think so?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "I listen to people complain about everything all my life. I can handle this."
Chuckling, he nuzzled our noses together and said, "Alright. It's about to be twelve, I will make you something."
"I'm not hungry though," I said, watching him reluctantly get off from behind me and make his way to the joint kitchen.
"You need to regain your strength." He said, already starting his cooking at the stove.
Watching him work, I cannot help but think about everything that Solar said.
