In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.
"You Highness are you okay? You are sweating, wait did you see a ghost?" Lyn mumbled waving her hand in front of his face to wake him up from his daze.
Jetaime jerked out of his lustful desire. A feeling he thought was dead came back to life, he had burned every bridge that leads to any kind of sexual desire. Sexual desire was the downfall of great men and his father was a typical example he thought.
Even though he can't link the pieces or find the missing pieces to uncover the truth about his parent's death he believes the woman he took him, clothed, and lay with was behind it. He still hasn't given up on finding how Consort Suva was involved but here he is hopeless in love, burning with desires he can't control.
"What ghost? No, it's my turn now," he managed to say as he gulp hard, he strode to the bathhouse while Lyn shakes her head drying her hair with the towel, she had a feeling of getting to the bottom of it but she just ignored it. She said in front of the mirror and once her hair was dry she strode around in the room touching anything that amused her.
She spotted Jetaime's mask on the table, she carefully picks it up and starts at it. She didn't know what happened but the desire to put it on was strong and no matter how hard she tried not to since the king might get angry she still couldn't resist the temptation.
Lyn picks up the mask and slowly ties the string behind, she was excited and in a hurry to see how she will look in the king's mark.
Jetaime was done taking his bath but Lyn had taken the towel with her. The other towels there were too wet and he wondered what she use them for.
He walks into the room in a bathrobe and water drips down his muscular body. He stands there staring at Lyn. Lyn turns to look at herself in the mirror to see who looks better in the mask. herself or the king.
her eyes landed on a wet hairy leg as she lifts her eyes up slowly to see who it was standing there. to her surprise, it was Jetaime standing there half-naked, the middle of the robe was tied around the waist but his bare chest could be seen. Lyn almost entered inside the wall when she realized he has caught her.
if his eyes could kill she believes she would have being dead alright. "What are you doing?" He said in a hoarse voice making her jump in fright.
"Arrh nothing," she said sharply trying her best to unloose the string to take off the mask but for some reason that simple task become something impossible, why not she was trembling in fear. "Take your time, let me," Jetaime said walking close to her.
"No it's fine, it's almost off," she muttered as her hands tremble but she managed to take it off. she expected Jetaime to be angry and yell at her but he did the opposite.
He was lost in a daze again. the mask people couldn't even stare for a second she was willing to put it on. These little things of her make him feel attracted to her.
"Why are you like this?" she said taking her eyes off his chest. "You, what did you do to those towels? how come they are all so wet?" Jetaime grumbled walking to take the one she left on the bed.
"I'm sorry I was clumsy and made them fall inside the bathtub," she said in a sad low tone that made her sound like a cute adorable puppy. Jetaime felt bad immediately for even questioning her.
"It's fine," he whispered gently as he tries to pat her head like the little puppy she looks like Jetaime slipped and lost balance, he didn't fall thank goodness but the belt around his waist loosen exposed his naked body in front of her and interestingly he was hard and stand tall like a soldier ready for action that terrified Lyn making her scream her head out.
"Arrrrrrrh!" she yells shut her eyes tight covering both ears. Jetaime felt embarrassed but he couldn't help it, every single thing about her turns him on and it was his first time in such a situation, the very first time his soldier had stood straight and that tall. he quickly covers himself up and bit his lips.
"Alright stop screaming, I'm leaving okay," Jetaime said as he walks back to wipe himself and find a way to make his soldier stand down. "Arr...Arrhh..." Lyn still yells opening her eye one after the other to make sure he was ready gone.
she touch her thumping chest and couldn't understand why her heart was beating so fast. what the hell was that? she thought taking deep breaths.
it took Jetaime a while to come back, "Why are you still up?" he questioned. "I can't sleep and being here I doubt I will be able to sleep," Lyn mumbled still standing beside the curtains.
"Come here," Jetaime said as he walks to grab her hand. "What!" she struggles with him but he made her seat on the bed and covers her with the blanket. "It's cold," he added joining her on the bed as Lyn stares at him nervously.
"I might have scared you earlier, I'm sorry," He apologise and Lyn doesn't know why he was apologizing after all she was the one that touch his things when he clearly told her not to.
"I ..." Lyn opens her mouth to speak but didn't know what to say. "I don't feel like sleeping either why don't we talk for a while," Jetaime suggested while Lyn only become more nervous. she wasn't as knowledgeable as her twin sister in fact she wasn't allowed to study.
She did sneak out of the palace once in a while to watch other kids learn what her grandmother thought her before she passed on. what if he asks her something and she gives the wrong answer she might be in trouble and her secret will be revealed she thought biting her fingernails.
"Alright, we don't have to talk if you don't want to how about I take you to my favourite place to see something magical," he said which made Lyn feels much better.
He helps her out of bed and covers her with a huge coat since her dress was light. he holds her hand and she follows him quietly.
Jetaime was excited to share his favorite place with her and well he could get to fish out just how much she knows about marital relationships.
