Unusual Request!

If for anything, Drusilla sees the Dark-dawn pack as more of a home or even a better family than where she was born and raised like a dog, for something which was totally beyond her control.

From the Alpha's daughter to an omega may be a drastic change for many. The two seem to be worlds apart. However, she has never been happier to be a servant than she is now.

Drusilla entered the room to see Alpha Gavin closing his eyes as though he was asleep. Knowing he is drifting off to sleep gradually, she walks with light and very cautious steps as she packs everything out of the room in utmost quietness. After exiting the room, she then sends a text message stating "it's done!"

On the other end, relief washed over her when she saw the message which caused her to jump up and down, clapping her hands and laughing like a maniac.

Her apprehensions and sleepless nights would be over from this moment forward. For Gavin to wake up within a month means that he would make a full recovery.

It would be slow and steady but if he is watched carefully and doesn't stress himself in the healing process, things would go smoother than expected.

After Drusilla left, Gavin tried all he could to summon Wesley and Ortiz but to no avail. He couldn't find his voice, and neither could he communicate with his wolf. This in turn means that he is unable to communicate with his sidekicks, beta Wesley and beta Ortiz

Even though Alpha Gavin wasn't happy with how weak and vulnerable he was feeling at the moment, he attributed everything to the aftermath of forcing himself to shape-shift when he was already in an unfavorable health condition.

He even felt that his recovery had been too quick and being out for only a month seems to be a miracle in his sight.

At this point, an innocent and sweet face popped up in his mind and surprisingly, he felt so calm and peaceful closing his eyes.

Try as he may, nothing could be done and before he knew it, he went into a very deep sleep with an unnoticeable smile on his lips.

With the Alpha's health getting better, Wesley and Ortiz got to work and began putting things in place for the final annexation of the Blue-fiend pack.

Knowing their Alpha very well, the two were ready for a summon at any time in the day. Unknown to them, the alpha was currently in lalaland, dreaming of a beautiful experience with the one person who happened to accompany him through his month-long sleep.

When they finally came to meet him sleeping, the betas thought the healer had prescribed a new drug to keep him well-rested. However, the drug was placed in the light porridge he was fed by his mother.

Kendra herself who tasted a mouthful before feeding her son did not know that there was an amount of anesthesia in the food, purposely meant to knock her son out.

A whole week went by uneventfully in the Dark-dawn pack, with only a very few of them putting things together for a major event, annexing the Blue-fiend pack.

The same could not be said for the Blue-fiend pack, however. The whole atmosphere was tense as the pack higher-ups await the arrival of their alpha.

Alpha Orsin told a few of his trusted betas and warriors about his plans to eliminate Alpha Gavin.

Everyone thought he was crazy, but when he speaks about his newfound ally and the power she wields, they support him wholeheartedly and anticipate that he returns with news of their conquest.

However, the Alpha is nowhere to be seen and none of his companions have so far, returned. No one has received any message from them either.

The whole pack was a mess as everyone dreads what may befall them if their plans fail.

Most of them begin to see how stupidly ambitious they were and how they have brought doom upon the pack. However, there is nothing they can do to help. All they can do now is to wait and keep their fingers crossed, hoping that the alpha returns safely, and with news of success.

It would be a good idea to escape before the consequences of their actions catch up to them. However, if the alpha returns safely and Wolftown is conquered by the Blue-fiend pack, all those who fled would be treated as deserters. Only death awaits them if that should be the case.

As a result, everyone could only hope and pray that the moon goddess blesses them with victory.

A week passed by as Alpha Gavin alternated between consciousness and deep slumber. His body got better and he realized that he could even stand on his feet, albeit for only a brief moment.

Being a fierce and ruthless person who is not even kind to himself, Alpha Gavin began to put measures in place to visit the dungeon. He had every reason to find out who the mastermind is, as he was aware the person may be a very formidable opponent.

Decay and the corruption in the hearts of some of the pack members have taught him to take this hidden enemy seriously. Some things need to be handled personally.

As Wesley and Ortiz were summoned, the two thought that it was finally time to avenge their fellows whom they had lost in the ambush, by teaching the Blue-fiend pack a lesson they can never forget.

With Alpha Gavin in charge, there was no cause for alarm. Everything will definitely be paid back, and with interest for that matter.

Immediately they heard the Alpha's request, they froze at their spots as their eyes threatened to fall off their sockets.

Why would Alpha Gavin wish to go to the dungeon immediately after he got out of bed? How were they to break the news to Gavin?

The two could not help sweating in the cold room as they felt that their days, as well as their future, seems too bleak at the moment.

There is absolutely no telling what Gavin will do upon finding out what happened in his absence.

How on earth would they talk their way out of this predicament?
