Those compliments are an everyday thing for Alison.

Just Alison but the headmistress Lily called her 'Alice' from time to time.

Alison never met her biological parents and no one knows who they are or where they might be.

She was just a days-old infant when she was left in front of the orphanage's gate.

The 9 months pregnant Lily was the one who found Alison peacefully sleeping inside a worn-out Nipa basket during her morning walk when she noticed a stray dog anxiously sniffing the basket.
