Chapter 8: the Earth realm

Authors note: This chapter will be a short one seeing as it is just a brief cut back to check on the earth while our hero has been away.

We cut back to the Earth Realm just as our hero left this world behind. A series of chaotic events unfolded when Ryuki departed for the martial realm. Dungeons formed, monsters began attacking cities, and innocent people lost their lives.

Now, we return to Ryuki's family, as Ryuki's mother, and siblings make it back to their father lying down unconscious, not responsive with a smile on his face, it's clear he has passed away. His mother and sibling sat there holding their beloved father as he lay there dead, crying their eyes out as they mourned their loss.

Ryuki's brother and sister tried to pull their mom away because a giant monster was approaching their mother wouldn't budge, as she lay there bawling her eyes out, "Why my family?! Dear gods help us all, as our lives have been forsaken!!"

As she looks at her beloved children with tears in her eyes, "Please take care of each other, my children." With a smile on her face as she was stomped to death. 

While the children screamed and broke down in sorrow they vowed revenge on their mother, all of a sudden two daggers appeared in front of them.

A devilish voice spoke in a cocky manner, "Do you wish to seek revenge, do you wish to make them pay, do you desire my strength if so, heed our name children and we shall grant you every desire."

As the brother shouts a name in the sky with all his might, the name he shouted was Asmodeus also known as Greed.

Soon the sister followed but she heard a different name, she said it so quietly, so as not to alert any nearby monsters, Lilith otherwise known as Fear.

They said such names not even a second after they said such things, their eyes glowed red and they grew horns, with tears running down their face their last words were "Brother help."

Then the demons inhabiting those bodies were now the archdemons known as Greed and Fear. As they laughed "Such whinny brats, foolish of them to trust a demon, just foolish, not like I'm complaining though" Greed said with a smirk on his face.

Fear said joltingly "So sugar what should we do, we need stronger hosts to maintain in the earth realm, these bodies are too weak."

They looked at each other knowing exactly what to do "Why don't we go visit and give our martial realm friends a little gift, from us to them."

As we cut away back to the Martial Realm most of the Earth's realm has been destroyed currently only 150,000 people left in each country or so to say.

What will our hero do, especially when he finds out his siblings have been taken as hosts for some archdemons, what is to become of this world?
