41. Dark Series
Friday, evening.
After the last class, Tang Shu headed straight for the office building.
"Lecturer Chen, I'm here to request leave."
"Requesting leave again?"
Lecturer Chen had become somewhat familiar with Tang Shu's face.
She had taught the freshmen two specialty classes each week, and they all left a deep impression on her.
She had intended to suppress Tang Shu a bit, but she hadn't expected this student's foundation to be solid, responding fluently to whatever question she posed.
But that didn't mean she could take leave at will, treating the school as if she could come and go as she pleased.
She liked good students.
But she did not like students who were blindly arrogant.
In the eyes of this instructor, the difference between Tang Shu and Meng Yunyun was that the former acted wilfully because she had some knowledge, while the latter was a genuinely obedient and studious student.
