MIA'S POV:
"Don't you think this is too much?" The drab looking maid standing besides me asks in a concerned tone.
"Shut up." I hiss in an annoyed tone. "Nothing is too much until that bitch is out of the way." I say in a tone of finality.
"But she's Mr Santino's wife. Won't he find out?" The maid asks in a whisper.
"Why are you still talking?" I ask in an exasperated tone. The only reason why I'm working with her is because I can't pull this off on my own.
I glare at her until she lowers her eyes. My attention returns back to the computer in front of me. I tap the keyboard, successfully uploading the profile.
It wasn't so hard to find Aurelia's pictures on the Internet. The bitch was part of some failing artists club. I wonder why she returned back to Italy.
"It's done. Now we just have to sit and wait." I say in a gleeful tone as I stare excitedly at the laptop screen.
"Can't it be traced back to you?" The maid asks in a skeptical tone.
"If you do not stop asking me such useless questions, I will make sure Alessandro stops caring for your child when I become his wife." I respond in a serious tone.
The lady hurriedly nods her head, probably trying to please me. There's no use for that anyway. I don't plan on keeping either her or her child alive after I get what I want.
I'm not so stupid to leave my accomplice alive when she can expose me whenever she wants.
Besides, her concerns are unfounded. There is no way the account would be traced back to me.
It had been my brilliant idea to open an anonymous account on the dark web and upload Aurelia's pictures claiming she's for sale. I put up a rather small amount on her head. Anybody that is willing to pay the money can take her whenever they want.
The bitch had it coming anyways, it's not my fault for hastening her downfall. How dare she try to steal my man?
A message notification pops up and a call request appears on my phone. I jump up happily when I realize it's someone who had seen Aurelia's profile.
I click on the person's profile and I realize that it's not just any normal man. The man is the leader of one of the small cartel families in New York City. Eduardo Ramirez.
I click the accept button, giving him the go ahead to take her. I don't care how he does it, so long as she's out of my hair in a week or two weeks time.
ALESSANDRO'S POV:
Pleasure runs down my spine as the unmistakable feeling of a hand running across my chest pulls me out from my sleep. My eyes fly open at that thought.
I find Aurelia wrapped around me and the usual and familiar feelings of hatred consume me.
However, I can't ignore the feelings of arousal that runs through me at the sight of her milky skin. If I weren't so angry with her for her possible involvement in my wife's disappearance, I would have considered her attractive.
"Get up." I order harshly as I uncuff her hands from my bed.
She groans awake, enthralling me with ther brown hues of her eyes. "What's going on?" She asks in a sickeningly enchanting tone that has my eyes flying to her soft rosy lips.
"Get the fuck out of my room." I say once more. Her eyes focus on me and she all but rolls to the floor.
She doesn't waste any time rushing out of the room. My temper soars at the haste in her steps to get away from me. Good. I want her out of my way as much as she wants to stay away from me.
I finish cleaning and resting up before heading to my office.
"Alessandro. Someone has been caught scouring the griunds with no reasonable explanation." Aldo calls out in an urgent tone the moment I'm settled in my chair.
"Where is he?" I ask in an exhausted tone. Why do my enemies think they can send a spy to my house and I won't find out?
"In the dungeon." Aldo responds as he leads the way.
"What is he saying?" I ask in a genuinely curious tone.
"He has refused to talk. My bet is on him being a hired killer. He probably has no idea who employed him." Aldo says in a contemplative tone.
When I step into the semi dark room, my gaze falls on Archie who currently has blood splatters on his white button down shirt.
I look at the bloodied man and I sigh heavily. "Who sent you?" I ask in a calm tone.
The man says nothing in response as he glares at me.
I pick up a short knife, testing it against my skin. "This will all be over in a minute if you answer my questions." I say in a patronizing tone.
"I have a family." The man says in a soft tone.
"You put yourself in this position, so I'm in no way forced to consider who is dependent on you." I respond in an annoyed tone as I step closer to the man.
Coward. I hate it when grown ass men are reduced to swiveling messes as they stand in the face of death for a crime they had committed proudly. He knew the consequences of coming here. He knew I could kill him, so I'm showing him no mercy.
The knife tears through skin easily as I stab his right arm. I drag the knife down to his wrist, ignoring his scream of agony.
"Fine, I will talk!" The man says in a desperate tone.
I'm quiet as I stare at him, waiting for him to fold like I expected.
"I was sent to find out about Aurelia." The man says as he breaks down crying.
My eyes meet Aldo's in confusion. "Why?" Aldo asks the question that's all on our minds.
"My boss wants her. He picked an interest in her right from the first time he saw her." The man responds.
I ignore the feelings of anger and possessiveness clouding my chest as I glare at the man.
"Who is your boss?" I ask with a raised brow, frowning when the man starts to shake his head.
"I'm sorry, I can't tell you! He will kill me!" The man says in a desperate tone.
"I am worse than the man you fear. I will set you on fire and feed your carcass to my dogs and I will not feel an ounce of pity as I send my men after your family." I say, delivering my threat and in a calm and organized tone.
With the way the man's eyes glaze over in fear, I realize that this is not the right approach. I have to appeal to his survival instincts.
