Lea and I settle into a cozy booth at the café, the aroma of fresh coffee and pastries drifting around us. She's wearing that unmistakable grin, the one that says she's holding onto a secret she can't wait to spill.
I raise an eyebrow, taking a sip of my coffee, trying to play it cool, but my curiosity gets the better of me.
"Alright, Lea," I say, leaning forward with a smirk. "What's with that look? You've been grinning like that since we sat down."
She bites her lip, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Fine, I'll spill. It's about Michael."
"Oh?" I ask, my smirk widening. "Do tell. Are you telling me my cold as ice bodyguard has finally given in?"
Lea laughs, shaking her head. "Let's just say … it was only a matter of time. The man has walls, but once I started pushing, well, they didn't stand a chance."
I chuckle, not surprised in the least. "So he's finally let his guard down, huh?"
