Bye, Murderers
Qing Chen and Wuming walked back inside the house and went to their father's study. All the files had been labeled and were organized efficiently. When they got inside, they both eyed the chair and when Qing Chen was about to walk to the ones in front of the desk, Wuming stopped him.
"What are you doing? Sit in his chair."
"He's not dead yet. I am not going to take his seat."
"Oh, psh," Wuming said and sat down. "Just take it." He cursed under his breath.
Qing Chen took his father's seat. It was far too wide for his slim frame. Then it also made him think about if he were really the right one to be here. The office had an old design with varnished wood and the air felt a little stuffy. That or he was just getting suffocated with his new position.
