The rain was no longer burning against her skin.
It became gentle, yet heavy enough to make her wish she could run far away from this dreary wretched place. Aesther's mind was silenced in that small moment of change.
The water turned much much colder.
But that was not it.
She took a few steps back and moved around as the rain roared like a beast in agony. The bizarre long buildings of Mournhelm were gone.
The waters no longer flooded the streets.
But instead, under the blanket of suffocating dark clouds, there was a large valley of scattered woods and grasses.
Aesther had never been to such a place before. It was distinct from the Lunar Valleys. However, not much could be said when she was absolutely nothing but endless plains and the darkness of the storms.
"Oh, excellent," she laughed, walking aimlessly, "From one illusion to another, I might as well start living here!"
