Aurora's POV
I tossed my head back allowing the steaming water to run down my neck. Even with my confusing relationship with Liam, he hasn’t let up on my training. He believes that I can move faster and strike harder and despite my bones aching to stop I continue to push myself. With Liam’s help, I was sure that I could surpass any Omega that came before me. I could start a revaluation for others like me.
I turn off the faucet before grabbing a white towel that I sat on the closed toilet seat. I shook my feet before stepping out, my semi-damp feet touching the cold, porcelain floor. I wrapped the towel around my body securing the ends under my arm as I wiped the steam from the mirror.
My mother had gone to her night shift at a human diner; it was one of the few places that would hire her. She had said that everyone else seemed to be well-staffed, but I figured it was to put my mind at ease with why she didn’t have a better job that offered her higher pay and more hours.
