*Jessica*
Life as a goddess among mortals is an incredibly easy one. Especially if you’re still a student. I ended up getting to my lecture and listened to five minutes of it before asking my professor if she could just give me a passing grade in the course, and she agreed.
It was sociology anyway, and society is about to change for the better.
After that, the lecture turned into a planning session of what my new society might look like. You can never plan too far ahead when working on a project like this.
Assuming, of course, that this new society gets any further off the ground, because I knew Felix and Linc would try to talk me out of going forward.
I spent the rest of the day coming up with an argument in favor of letting the spell run its course until I met Felix and Linc at the coven’s bar.
“This needs to stop, Jess,” Linc stated even before the three of us had slid into our booth.
“Linc, come on,” I tried. “It’s not that bad.”
“Yes, it’s bad, Jess. It’s creepy.”
