“ I'M EXHAUSTED FROM TRYING TO BE STRONGER THAN I FEEL" In a world where the weight of reality presses heavily on the shoulders of sixteen-year-old Bianca, her life takes an unexpected turn when she stumbles upon a beautifully enchanted rose. Lonely and burdened by the maturity that sets her apart, Bianca discovers an otherworldly connection within the delicate petals of this mysterious flower. With its magic, she forms an unbreakable bond with three remarkable friends, setting forth an extraordinary journey that intertwines the struggles of youth with the touch of the supernatural. Bianca's first confidante, Rowoon, a seventeen-year-old with sandy brown hair and a courageous spirit, becomes her pillar of support. His kindness and maturity complement Bianca's introspective nature, providing a sturdy foundation for their burgeoning friendship. Then there's Rosé, the soul of the squad, a lively sixteen-year-old whose cute demeanor and playful personality inject joy into their lives. With her wolf-cut black hair and charming green eyes, Rosé brings a spark of brightness to Bianca's otherwise gloomy existence. Completing the quartet is San, an eighteen-year-old with a cold yet generous disposition. His introverted nature resonates with Bianca's, and his red-brown messy hair masks a depth that only Bianca truly comprehends. As Bianca navigates the complexities of her teenage life, these friendships grow and strengthen, each friend providing a unique piece to her puzzle. Together, they embark on a journey that uncovers the different phases and struggles of life, their interconnected stories highlighting the power of resilience, the beauty of empathy, and the magic woven within true friendship. With the enchanted rose as their guiding light, Bianca and her companions discover that in the darkest moments, there exists a shimmer of hope—a realization that transcends the boundaries of their reality and the touch of otherworldly powers. Through the highs and lows of their collective experiences, they learn that true strength lies not in being stronger than they feel, but in finding solace, support, and a glimmer of enchantment within the petals of their unbreakable bond.
As they both rushed to Rosé's home they saw San hugging Rosé outside the room. There was a deep silence and Rosé was crying silently. When she saw Bianca she ran towards her and hugged her tightly. Bianca comforted her. They knocked on the door and went inside Rosé's parent's room. Her mom was smiling as if she was hiding her pain. Besides the mom, Rosé's dad was sitting holding her wife's hand. He was looking depressed too. After a few minutes, her mom started to talk. She said It's fine don't be sad everyone has to die one day. Rosé's mom was diagnosed with tumor stage four. Her chances to survive were low as it already spread to other organs.
Doctors said that she can only survive one year barely. Her dad was calming her mom. There was grief and helplessness in her eyes. Among all the friends only Rosé's parents were having an ideal couple relationship. They always treat everyone with love. They love each other immensely. They were always been there for each other in hard times. Rosé was born after five years of their wedding. Everything was going well. She saw her parents caring and loving each other while growing up. There were many sufferings but they never talked about leaving each other. Her father was entirely broken now but he wasn't showing it in front of her wife and daughter.
They took Rosé out for a walk. Rosé's world was falling apart. She loved her mom so much. They all were reassuring her. Bianca said, "I know it's hard for you and your father but you have to make her last moments full of joy. You have to spend time with your family so that you won't regret it later." Rowoon replied, " Yes Bianca is right Rosé. You have to take care of your father too. I know he isn't showing at all but inside he is already broken."
San asked her to sit on a bench he hold her hands and said to Rosé " I don't know how parents' love feels I was little when my parents got separated after that I lived on my own. Your family is the perfect example of a happy family Rosé. There are many up and downs in life you have to move on and live. Live for your father. Don't be sad, we all are with you. When will also spend time with your family but for now you have to be a strong girl okay" He smiled and Rosé smiled back with teary eyes.
They all walked back toward her home. When her father saw them they stood up and start walking towards the kitchen as it was the first time when his daughter's friend came home. Bianca stopped him politely she said," It's okay uncle we will cook something don't worry." Her dad was insisting but they went to Kitchen. Rosé and San were sitting with her parents while Bianca and Rowoon were in the kitchen. Rowoon helped Bianca and they cooked dinner. They all organized the dinner table together.
As Rosé's mom took a first bite she was amazed because the food was so delicious. Everyone was praising Bianca. At the dinner table, Rosé's dad was telling them about how naught Rosé was in her childhood. Everyone was laughing and having a good time together. San asked Rosé's dad how he met her mom. Then her father starts telling them their tale of love. He said, " When I was in high school I was like one of that guys in the class who is not good in studies and likes to bully frightened students."
" One day as always I was bullying a boy because he was new in our school but something strange happened that day. I was so aggressive that even other boys in our school were always scared of me no one ever dared to go against me. That day I remembered well for the first time someone threw water on me from the rooftop. I was so much anger I ran towards the rooftop and locked the door that was the only way to go downstairs. I searched for the person who did that to me. There was no one. I hit my hand on the wall. I was crazy I was continuously punching until my hand started to bleed. I was screaming in anger until a girl hiding in the small place behind the water tank came out and ran towards me. It was the first time when someone was brave enough to come closer to me. That girl held my hand and wiped my wound with her handkerchief. I was looking at her and my all aggressiveness was fading away. When she finished first aiding me I recall why I was there. I pushed that girl to the wall she was so scared that she was even looking into my eyes she was shivering and tears were dropping from her eyes. I asked her why she did that but she didn't reply I shouted and asked her again then she said that boy I was bullying was her younger brother and she was protecting him in a trembling voice."
" I controlled my anger and let her go without saying anything after that day her face started to appear in front of my eyes. My eyes only seek her. I searched her face in every girl's face. Something was wrong with me I never felt something like that. I didn't stop bullying others and continued to show my rough side to everyone but inside everything changed because of that girl. One night I fought with my parents and I left home with my bike. I was speeding and lost in my thinking until a girl appear in front of my bike and I was about to hit her but I turned the bike towards the other side. I was injured and bleeding a lot. That girl ran to me and a voice came from my heart "It's her... It's her" My heart started to pound when she was holding me. I forgot everything and I was just smiling at her that's the last thing I thought back to before fainting."
Everyone was listening so quietly and focused. Now Rosé's mom said, "Let me continue."
