THE FOLLOWING MORNING:
Leo's POV:
I woke up to my mother coming into the room. Rolling over to look at the clock on the nightstand, I see it's 6:30 a.m. Sighing knowing I have to get out of bed but lay in bed for another ten minutes.
TEN MINUTES LATER
Finally, after getting out of bed I got dressed, ate breakfast, and headed to school. By this time it was already seven.
AT SCHOOL
By the time I got to school the first bell had rung for the first period. Stepping into the hallway, I started towards my locker to put the extra books away. After closing my locker, the second bell rang, letting me know that I was running late for class. I hurried to get to history class before being caught. As Mr. Evans was about to close the door, I got there. "You're late," said Mr. Evans.
"Yes sir, I am sorry. I had just got here when the first bell had rung." I replied as I sat down.
As Mr. Evans began the lesson that was on the board, I had begun the take my textbooks out. I think this is going to be a long day already.

Rose's POV:
It's the second day of school and yet I don't want to go. But yet I am sitting at this desk listening to Ms. Brown talk about math. As Ms. Brown was giving instructions on the new homework assignment, the bell rang. I put my homework into my binder and got up to walk out of the classroom, heading over to my locker to get my next class books.
Looking up and seeing Leo at his, I closed my locker and started walking over to him. Getting closer to him I remembered what my dad had said the day before. "Hey, Leo," I said calmly.
"Hey?" He responded questionably and was confused.
"I just wanted to check up on you. And let you know that I am here if you need to talk to someone."
Slowing replying, "I am okay I guess, and I don't need anyone to talk to."
Standing there surprised trying to figure out how to respond. "I'm sorry, I am just trying to be nice. But whatever, have it your way." Walking away in a hurry, almost in tears. I got into my homeroom before the second bell rang. I sat in the back, with my head down. I couldn't believe he talked to me like that, all I tried to do was be nice. I sighed and closed my eyes until the second bell rang. Ms. Jade walks in, "Alright class, take a book out to read or finish your homework from other classes."
Take out one of my favorite books and start to read it.

Leo's POV:
Walking around the halls during homeroom, I asked myself "Why did I talk to her like that, she did nothing wrong but say hi and check on me." Mentally face-palming myself, I have never been so mean to someone like that before. About halfway to the homeroom, the first bell rings and everyone starts walking out of their classrooms, including Rose. Turning around not wanting to be noticed by her, I walk the other way.
