Chapter 181 The white sphere

[Congratulations!]

Only a little number of people could see this notification popping out in front of their eyes or could hear inside their mind.

[To the remaining participants you passed the first round!]

"A-ah! It's finally over! I can finally be free from this hellish place-mmmmgg!" A green thing entered inside her mouth but her eyes shone with hope despite the laughters of 'kukururu!' 'kerere' from small, green and ugly bastards around her.

Somewhere else.

"This...this is useless...I'm basically a cripple..." A feeble whisper escaped from the man's mouth. Around him orcs grunted, women moaned and sobbed while cries of despair resounded from several men watching such thing.

It was understandable. These people were all participants put together in this dark and smelly warehouse and for months were subjected with the atroucious reality that they couldn't do anything but suffer from the whims of these orcs.

The women were bent and fucked everyday with their legs always spread to entice the orcs while the men were all tortured beyond recognition and could barely lift themselves. However, these unfortunate souls shared a common thing and that is their diet consisting of only semen. An orc could release so much semen that the orcs guarding these participants can give the calories necessary for one to basically survive just by eating semen. Such thing, however, caused them to usually throw up since they not only eat gallons of semen but the taste and smell were awful.

[The second round will then commerce in a minute!]

In a city.

"We did it!Hahahah."

A group of hooded people cheered as piles of corpses were burning near them. During these months participants started to join other participants forming groups and these groups hunted other participants to end for all the first round.

[After this minute passes any injury will be healed and the original powers of each participant will be returned and the ability to use the items that were brought from the outside is now lifted, and the power and character that were given exclusively during this round will be taken away.]

Admist these chaotic emotions Deva was sitting with her eyes closed in a wooden chair outside her house.

The cheers, the laments, the cries, the pain...Deva felt the overwhelming emotions of every single creature living in the planet in her body,mind and soul...

A worm that will pass their entire life crawling in the dirt and ending eaten by another animal to a bird that flies above the clouds...Deva witnessed the memory of every single creature even that of her own minions and wives.

The mark on her hand showed '0' and was slowly fading as a minute was quickly going to pass.

[The next roun-]

But that notification never entered inside Deva's head or eyes.

"Deva! I was so worried! I feel like an eternity passed! I couldn't show up for some reason!"

The floating Perpetua was ignored, the same when her wives called her name.

Deva opened her eyes.

Her eyes remained the same crimson ones but everyone that made eye contact with her felt as if they could be devoured by myriads of emotions containing within them.

Pointing her finger towards the sky, Deva softly said: "Release."

A minuscule white sphere appeared and slowly ascended towards the sky. Despite its harmless appearence that was not the same for the pressure that it was releasing around it.

"Huak! Wh-!"

"I-It hurts! D-Deva...!"

"*sob* sob*"

"..."

As if they were afflicted by a curse the women collapsed in the ground gasping for air while clutching their chest. They were not only inflicted by physical pain but also by a mental one that caused them feel an intense mix of emotions making them cry uncontrollably, gaze at someone with intense disgust or smile euphorically while being crushed by the pressure. The little witch gasped in pain and gazed at Deva with fear as she was released by the hypnosis. The shadow of Deva constantly flickered but such thing was obscured by the tremble of the soil.

As the sphere ascended more and more towards the sky myriads of different voices started to scream in unison. Some screamed in pain, some in anger and hatred, some with determination, some with pure happiness and joy, some in lament and fear. The volume was unbeareble and hearing such screams could induce one to be affected as well.

Slowly these screams could be heard all over the world as the sphere started to slowly expand and then it exploded.

"Ah!My head!"

"W-what's this!"

"Crawl...crawl...crawl like a worm..."

"Agh...these aren't my memories!"

"Kurururu!?"

"Graaaaa!"

"Is this her fault?! How do you want us to suffer in order to satisfy you?!"

"M-master..."

The sphere containing the memories and emotions of every single creature was spread to the entire world and were forcefully shoved inside the mind of everyone. One could receive less than others but everyone was affected.

The weakest ones and older ones died instantly as they couldn't bear the intensity of these emotions and the overdrive of countless memories. Newborns, children under five, teens and adults that were mentally and emotionally weak and the elderly died. While the remaining ones had to bear the pain inflicted by the sphere, not only humans were affected even animals and insects who most of them died instantly. The only ones that were not that affected were the people around Deva who were ignorant of the current situation.

Even Deva was unaware of the situation as she blankly watched the sky.

"Euphoric..."

[...will end with the death of the half of the inhabitants.]

[The ten remaining participants will be teleported to the bearer of core to decide who'll be the owner! The countdown of ten minute will then begin!]

By the time the announcement ended the sphere had already caused a massive amount of deaths including Deva's own subordinates. The entire world quieted down as the surviving lifeforms trembled in fear or are still bearing the pain.

"I have to thank the Devil who gave me this kind of oppurtunity."

Deva calmed down and immediately went to help and soothe her wives who are still in the ground.
