Day together (106)

Last night was the perfect nights in Marcus's mind but today just spending a lazy carefree day with the woman he loves was even better. If anyone would of told him he would be happy like this, he would of said they were crazy. Now this is everything he wanted for his future.

Ariel was surprised at how much she loved being by his side. She looked over and watched as he drove down the country road. She wondered what their lives would be like if they continued this way. Would he want to get married? Would he want kids? Would he really let her continue working if she wanted too?

"Are you alright?" Marcus asked as he seen her lost in thought.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"Nothing, just looked like you were thinking about something important."

"I was just wondering what we would become someday." She smiled.

"I hope we can continue to be together just like we are and maybe have a family too." he said laying his hand over hers.

"I see." She looked down a little disappointed in his answer.

He pulled over to the side and turned to look at her.

"Tell me what is wrong. Do you not want to be with me?"

She looked up and a tear rolled down her cheek. He took his thumb and wiped it away.

"It's not that. It's..." She looked down again.

"It's what?"

"I always thought I would be married before I had a family but I understand if you don't feel this way." She wiped more tears away.

He smiled as he lifted her chin up. "Who said I was not talking about you being married to me. I am happy to know you will say yes if I ask. And one day I will ask. Just be patient."

She smiled at him feeling a little mad that she did not trust him. Now she would ever wonder if she pushed him into this or if he really wanted to marry her. She knows he would do anything to make her happy but is it right. She was now more confused then before.

He pulled her into an embrace and she took the warmth of his body to dry up her tears and put on a smile. All this will have to be put on the back burner so it would not put pressure on him. When they separated they continued the drive and to keep her from thinking to much she asked to see the club he had given to her.

They pulled up to a old club house. The grounds were very overgrown. A lot of work would need to be done to get it back into shape.

He then walked them over to the building and punched in a code on a box that held the key. When they walked in, the building inside was not to bad. It would only need a little work.

She smiled as they walked from room to room. "Marcus"

"Yes" He said.

"Can I get a blue print of the building and the grounds?"

He let out a little chuckle, "That can be arranged. Got some ideas running in that pretty mind of yours."

"Yes, a lot and I am getting really excited now."

He pulled in her and held her. "I'm glad you are sweetheart." He then kissed her.

When they broke apart she looked up and smiled. "Thank you for loving me."

"Ariel, you never have to thank me for that. You are so wonderful it's hard not to fall in love with you."

She blushed and pulled away. She then started telling him of some of her thoughts for each room they walked into. He smiled at how excited she was to have this project.

"This room will be perfect as a craft room. With the cabinet over there housing the supplies. We could even do sewing here."

They walked out back to find the pool area. It was not in bad condition but would need a little repair.

She then stopped and turned to him. "What did your dad want to do with this area?"

"High rise condos for the rich and famous. Like we need another area like that." Marcus scoffed.

She smiled. "I think this will be a better use of it. But we will need a few vehicles to get the kids here from the poor area of town. Maybe have them picked up at the school grounds and brought here."

"I did not think of that but you are right. We will set down and write all this down. I'll leave all the planning in your hands. Hire everyone you think you will need."

She smiled at him and soon they were back into the car and heading home. It had been a long day but she was happy she could spend it with him.

They stopped on the way and got take out and ate it on the patio. The house had been cleaned while they were gone and for once she was glad for the help.

After they ate they both changed into swim suits and went for a relaxing swim together. As she was doing one last lap he grabbed her at kissed her.

"What was that for?" She smiled.

"I just needed a kiss." He smiled back at her. He the carried her out of the water and into the house. Not stopping till they were both in the shower and making love once more.
