MARLYSSA WHITE

Then, Frita poked his head over Gorover's shoulder. Since he was taller than he was, it was much easier to do that action. He gave the female a large smile. She was wearing a blue turtleneck dress that fell past her knees. The thick brown leather collar peeked over the turtleneck.

"Hello, there short one." His smile was wide and his eyes curved up as he gave her his greetings.

Ellis slowly raised her eyes to look up at the tall alpha who was smiling up at her from over Gorover's shoulder. His blue eyes were curved up at the corners as he smiled. She smiled shyly and gave him a small wave. "Hi."

"Haha." Frita moved back and patted Gorover on the shoulder. "She is a perfect match for you, wouldn't you agree, Edrey?" Frita moved back and slung his hand over his younger brother's shoulder with a smirk on his face.

"You're completely right." Edrey managed to smile as he spoke out. "Welcome to the family, Ellis."

"Thank you." She spoke in a soft voice. She was a true omega, to the extent that it was quite difficult to believe that she was actually studying an arduous course such as mecha engineering.

Teremie, on the other hand, had already walked around Gorover and stood next to Ellis. "Hello. I'm Teremie White. Are you our new sister?" he cocked his head as he asked, then his stomach fell to her protruding belly.

He opened his mouth, ready to ask another question. However, his thought process was disrupted when a female voice spoke from the top stair. Standing at the top step of the flight of stairs was Marlyssa White. Like many alpha females, she stood over six feet tall and was a slender female.

Her hair was purple and was shorn to her shoulders. She was wearing a cream shirt tucked into a pure white pair of silk pants. There was a material made out of cloth tied around her waist. Her red eyes were covered by a pair of reading glasses. Her shoes were soft to look at, and, much like her clothes, were white in color.

"Mother." Frita let go of his brother and walked forward to help their mother down the last stair step.

Marlyssa looked up at her son and gestured at him to bow his head. With a smile, he bowed his head and allowed her to pat his white locks. "You have been gone for a while now. Do you not miss home?"

Frita was smiling as he spoke up. "Come on, mother. There is just too much work to be done that I find it hard to come home often."

She took her hand back and looked around at the others. "Even then, you should come and visit more often. Do you know how boring it is without you here?"

"Mom, mom." Teremie ran from Ellis' side and took her mother's hand to place her palm onto his own white locks. "Terry is here, Terry is here."

Marlyssa laughed, "Yes. I forgot that Teremie was also here."

She turned to Gorover and Ellis, with her hand still in her youngest child's hair, "Gorover."

"Aunt." Gorover gave her a small smile.

She turned her head from him and took a glance at the short female who stood behind him. Her lips twitched slightly, and she managed to smile softly. "I see that I was not wrong." The smile that was on her face was almost rueful.

"Well, this must be Ellis." She stretched out her free hand towards the female, "Come, child."

Ellis tightly gripped onto Gorover's shirt and looked up at him. He gave her a small nod and pushed her from behind his back. Marlyssa's smile almost froze on her face as she saw Ellis' belly.

"My. This lout of an alpha expected you to give birth alone when you're so heavily pregnant." She raised a hand and softly patted Ellis' hair once she was within arm's reach. "Welcome to the family. Although you have yet to get married, Gorover is still very much a son to me. Therefore, if you have any problems with him, you can feel free to come to me."

Ellis flushed, and her face became a bright red color as she slowly bobbed her head up and down.

"Wonderful." She hooked her finger onto Ellis' chin and pushed it up. "Now that you are part of our family, you shall be introduced to the family. Do you have any problem with that?"

Ellis' eyes widened, but she quickly shook her head.

A large smile made its way up Marlyssa's lips. "How cute." She took her finger back. "Since that is the case, you should be prepared. Do not let anyone look down on you, and thus, you should always have your head up, even in situations that make you feel like you want to break down. Do you think you are ready to do that?"

Ellis looked back at Gorover. However, her face was pushed back, "If there is a situation where you cannot turn to Gorover, you will have no other choice but to rely on yourself. You must be prepared for such a situation. I am not trying to scare you off, however, you must have nerves of steel to be able to become part of the family. Are you ready for that?"

The omega female gripped the hem of her turtleneck dress.

"Aunt." Gorover took a step forward, ready to speak up for his omega when Marlyssa turned her red eyes to look at him.

"Gorover." Her pheromones were thick and seeing as she directed them only to Gorover, they were more concentrated. He choked slightly and took a small step back.

"I- I-…" The omega female began to speak, causing the attention to drift back to her. "I c-can try." Marlyssa took back her pheromones and smiled widely at the omega. "I am glad to hear that, therefore, I shall take that as an answer for now."

She looked down at the omega's wide belly. "I hope that Gorover has shown you around."

Ellis nodded quickly.

"The third floors all the way up to the fifth floor is out of bounds, even with Gorover. Alright?"

She nodded once more.

"Alright." Marlyssa turned to Edrey.

"Edrey, I want to see you in my office in a few minutes."

Edrey was surprised by the sudden way that she had called out his name. He had been looking at Gorover and taking in the expressions the alpha male had on his face. It was needless to say, that it left a pang of pain in his heart. Nevertheless, he nodded. "Alright, mother."

"Good. Your father is coming home with two of his brothers. Do see to it that they are welcomed sufficiently and that two guest rooms are prepared for them, Afrita."

"Understood mother."

"And as for you, you little troublemaker," she pulled on Teremie's hair. "Come with me."

Then, without waiting for them to speak, she had sauntered up the steps, holding on tightly on Teremie's hair.

Once she was out of earshot, Ellis sunk into Gorover's arms. "What an amazing amount of pressure."

Although Marlyssa had directed the pheromones to Gorover to keep him in place, some of it had leaked out and had poured onto her surroundings. Thus, it had affected the young omega female, who had never felt such strong pheromones before.

Still, Ellis' eyes were sparkling, as if she had just met her role model.

Gorover laughed helplessly, his laughter breathless, as he rubbed her shoulder.

Edrey's heart clenched at the sight. "Come on Edrey." Frita pulled on his arm. "I brought you something. Let's go and leave the lovebirds to their own devices."

Edrey was unable to complain as he was pulled into Frita's room.

Frita glanced behind him, at Gorover who was helping Ellis down the stairs. There was a frown on his face, and his eyes turned dark. For a microsecond, his pheromones leaked out of his body, freezing the doorknob.

"Aren't you going to show me what it is you wanted to show me, Afrita?" Edrey asked from inside the room, causing Frita's expression to lighten up. He turned to Edrey and smiled brightly.

"Come on come on. Why the rush?" he asked as he closed the door behind him.
