Yan Yan's Aura

It was lunch time when Itzel and her siblings entered the restaurant. Because of their identity, instead of joining the line, people let them enter first as they were afraid of the consequences.

"Where is elder brother Lander?" Itzel asked the waitress.

"Who?" The waitress asked as she only knew the name of her employer and the other employee.

"He's your boss isn't he?" Itzel asked now confused. She received the letter that was sent to her by Lander so she was sure that it was the place but seeing the reaction of the waitress, she was now confused.

"I'm sorry, but our boss is someone named Lute," The waitress smiled explaining.

"Aaah Lute, elder brother Lander's slave. Where is he now, could you call him for me?" Itzel asked. The waitress, knowing the background of Itzel instantly called for Lute.

Lute came out of the kitchen and went towards the table of Itzel and her siblings, "What can I do for you young lady?" Lute asked as he bowed his head.

"Can you please call elder brother to come here?" Itzel asked.

"Forgive me young lady but Master is busy right now as he's focused in cooking foods," Lute explained.

"Fine! But could you ask him about the promise?" Itzel asked smiling prettily.

"Do not worry young lady, he said that he's going to fullfil his promise and he strictly said that the promise was only for you and not others," Lute explained as he bowed towards the siblings of Itzel apologizing.

"Don't worry, we'll pay." Itzel's sister reassured.

After waiting for a while, Lander asked the waiters to server the dishes to Itzel and her siblings. He also came out personally holding a pot of delicious fried chicken heading straight Itzel's table, "Here you are little princess, eat well."

"Yey! Thank you so much elder brother." Itzel thanked Lander as she cheered raising her one hand up in the air. Her siblings watched Itzel and smiled as they also nod at Lander.

Lander smiled when he heard a commotion at the entrance "What's happening?" Lander asked the waiter.

"The Head Professor of the Amphiptere Academy and the other Professors came," The waiter replied. The Head Professor of the Academy also received Lander's letter.

"It's nice to see you again young man," The Head Professor of the Amphiptere Academy greeted him followed by ten other professors, one of them was a beautiful lady.

"Huh? Why didn't you fall in line Head Professor," Lander asked bewildered as he knew that the line was very long so how could they entered already.

"Ah that, well we did but the people urged us to just enter and don't bother falling in line," The Head Professor replied.

"I see, so it's the power of status," Lander replied that made the Head Professors embarrassed as they coughed faking it while the lady professor glared at Lander.

"Well, welcome elders and please follow this waitress as she will lead you to your table and kindly wait for a while after you made your order," Lander politely welcomed. He then proceeded back to the kitchen.

Outside, another commotion was happening. A group of men was threatening the people to give up their lines or they will hurt them. They weren't afraid of Tigress and the two beasts as they were stronger than them.

It was getting noisier and noisier that made the purple haired old man shouted on top of his lungs as he released a terrifying aura that made the people around be terrified, "Hmm... Such nosy bandits, you better shut up or I'll slaughter your entire family!"

Lander heard the shout and was also disturbed by the aura. He went out as he reprimanded the purple haired old man, "Hey there old man, why the hell are you shouting. You're scaring our customers and don't ever shout in front of the people eating, it's disrespect. Haven't you learned from Lute this morning?"

The Head Professors and the other professors were flabbergasted. Even the eldest sibling of Itzel, his eye balls nearly popped out of his eyes upon hearing Lander reprimanding the old man. "Doesn't he knew about this old man?"

"Hmmmm, forgive me young man but some bandits are breaking the lines," The old man said as he turned his head at Lander. Again, the professors and Itzel's eldest sibling was again astounded, "He actually replied? Is he breaking his identity?"

"Then go break their legs," Lander answered turning back as he went inside the kitchen again.

Once Lander finished the dishes of the professors, he started cooking their lunch meals. Once done, he said that they should take turns in eating. The purple haired old man, Lute, one dishwasher and the waitress ate together. Lander also told Adriel to eat first but Adriel was very engrossed in cooking that he can't even felt hunger. He also noticed the movements of Adriel was improving so much as his hands moved by instinct. Lander was satisfied.

Not eating lunch, Lander accompanied Adriel as he also prepared the next dishes. He hasn't move out of the kitchen ever since. Itzel wanted to personally thanked Lander but knew that he was busy so she just gave her message to Lute and left together with her siblings.

Not very long, all the professors were also satisfied by their meals as they patted their bulging tummies and praised the foods. The Head Professor also wanted to see Lander but was stopped by Lute so he gave his message to Lute to pass it later to Lander.

Time passed slowly until night came but the lines hasn't dispersed yet. Even though, Adriel and Lander was still cooking nonstop.

Finally, it was nearing midnight when the last customer left the restaurant with a satisfied tummy. Adriel, who was cooking nonstop sat down on the floor very exhausted and slept soundly not minding his position and the place.

The dishwashers was about to carry Adriel but Lander stopped them, "Let him be!"

Everyone moved out of the kitchen leaving Adriel inside sleeping soundly. Lander then asked Lute about their profits, "We managed to acquire 23 gold coins and 87 silver coins."

"Good, then give these workers 10 silvers each." Lander told Lute that made the other stunned. Ten silvers is worth a three day work for them but they earned it in a day. Only the purple haired old man wasn't paid.

"Can we come back again tomorrow?" One of them asked that made them expectant.

Lander nodded and they left excitedly. It was then that Yan Yan came out of her room excluding a faint aura around her. The purple haired old man nodded his head, "Good little girl, you should be a talented individual but your status as an outcast hindered you. Anyways, let me teach you how to conceal your aura."

When Lander saw Yan Yan giving off a faint aura, he was somehow jealous but at the same time relaxed. He would leave this world sooner or later, so he will surely leave Yan Yan behind and being able to acquire her own aura means another protection for her.

Despite the tiredness he was feeling, Lander left with Lute and went out running until Lute passed out from exhaustion. Lute was never good at physical training so he passed out after thirty minutes. Lander carried him back to the restaurant and then went out again training.

After lecturing Yan Yan about aura, the purple haired old man told her a story about an outcast being able to use magic, this man broke the outcast seal and was able to defeat his opponents but the cost of it would be his life force. "Do you want to pursue magic?"

Yan Yan hesitated but at the end agreed. She only has one resolution on her mind, to be able to help Lander in every way possible.

The old man nodded and told her that she can only pursue magic once she fully mastered her aura, it would take her 10 years or less to fully operate it before she could do magic. Then he also instructed her on how to improve her aura.
