Guardian Beast

Done with their foods, the Fairy Empress realized something was wrong with Lander's blood, "My benefactor, you.. you have a devil blood in you?"

"Oh that! Well, yeah! Those devils gave me devil blood when they imprisoned me!" Lander casually answered.

"Quick, let's go to the Elven Fountain to cleanse you from that devil blood!" The Fairy Empress urged the Respected Druid and the Elven Queen.

"That is against the rule of our race. No human could get near the Elven Fountain as it will only be polluted and get destroyed!" The Elven Queen wanted to help Lander as much as possible as she promised herself to be his woman but she can't also destroy her race's fountain, their foundation especially that she's gonna leave them soon.

"Naah! Don't worry about it, I'm fine anyways!" Lander shrugged his shoulder.

"You may be fine for now but once the devil blood took it's effect then you will be considered as a part of the Dark Force. You won't only be humanity's number one enemy but every other race that is opposing the Dark Force." The Respected Druid explained.

"So what can I do besides to accept that reality?" Lander wasn't the least bothered because he knew that he could only stay in this world temporarily.

"Sigh! Anyways, we can't allow that to happen to you so we will give you our Elven Water to consume and it will cleanse you of that devil blood," The Respected Druid said.

"Right! I almost forgot the Elven Water!" The Elven Queen said that made also the Fairy Empress nodding.

"There is no free meal in this world, except of course my food. So, what do you want in return old man?" Lander asked.

The Fairy, Queen and Druid got embarrassed as they looked at each other and no one dared to look at Lander's eyes. After a while, the Respected Druid finally spoke, "Well, we only wanted Grey to be our forest guardian. We will give you anything you wanted, the Elven Queen has already decided to be with you and if you aren't yet satisfied then we will give you more Elven ladies. We will also compensate you by giving you another beast of a higher ranking than Grey. So what do you think?"

"So why do you want Grey?" Lander asked tilting his head sideways while touching his chin with his left hand.

The three then explained everything to Lander about a beast having an aura. The benefits they could give and their strength that could threaten an entire kingdom.

"I see!" Lander spoke in a casual manner before looking at Grey, "So what do you think buddy?"

Grey then rejected their offer by moving his head sideways as he licked Lander.

"So that's it, this friend of mine don't agree to your demand," Lander smirked and patted Grey's head as he went towards his parents checking their injury.

"Can't you atleast put more effort and make us talk to it?" The Elven Queen harrumphed like a teenager whose in love.

"Grey can understand you well enough and he can hear you clearly. Why bother talking to me when you can talk with him?" Lander said as he then continued checking Grey's parents.

The three talked to Grey with full of respect and tried flattering him, promising a bright future and giving him even a title, Wolf Emperor of the Elves. But to no avail, Grey doesn't want to part ways with Lander. Lander was the sole reason he was this strong now and he hasn't even payed him back. Besides, Lander treated him as friends unlike any other who only treat them as pets or mounts.

After countless futile efforts, the three finally asked the reason why Grey was rejecting their offer. This time Grey communicated to the Elven Queen and Respected Druid explaining his reasons.

"Wait, what? Lander knew how to make a beast how to have an aura?" Both of them said in unison as they looked at Lander with awe and respect. The Elven Queen even blushed as she thought, 'So my future husband is this awesome?'

Calming theirselves after the shock they heard, the three pleased Lander to accompany them back at the Elven Forest in which Lander rejected as he pointed at Grey's parents, "They're incapable of moving!"

"How about I call my people to carry them?" The Elven Queen offered.

"Are you out of your mind? They're digesting their accumulated aura and you want to disturb them?" Lander looked at the Elven Queen and thought, 'What a beauty with no brain!'

"I..." The Elven Queen wanted to reply but her tongue was rolled making her unable to reply as she got very embarrassed.

Lander and Grey experienced the same thing so they knew what's good and not when Grey's parents are experiencing an enlightenment. The Respected Druid didn't talk, even the Fairy Empress while the Elven Queen was at the side drawing circle on the sand like a scolded teenager.

After three days, the Empress, the Queen and the Druid never left Lander and the wolves. They were enjoying Lander's food every time he cooks and got addicted to it. Sometimes, Lander would even order them to hunt some foods and herbs.

When they aren't doing anything, Lander would train his martial arts. After that would be some light meditation and consolidating his aura that makes it even terrifying.

On the afternoon on the third day, Grey's parents released an intense aura comparable to Lord Kazo's aura simultaneously. Then they woke up as they moved towards Lander and bowed, "Thank you Master!"

Lander then noticed that they also had a breakthrough in their ranks as they evolved into a Rank D beasts. He nodded his head with satisfaction and released them with the contract, "You're free now, as for Grey, he can decide to follow me or join you guys."
