Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
After cleaning off the wax paper, Di Tou stuffed it in his pack, and then didn't think much more and continued on his way to Thousand Li Stroke. When he arrived, he looked around and found that the street looked mostly the same, albeit a bit cleaner, as the number of bathhouses had thinned out, and a few more respectable-looking establishments had opened up up and down the street.
As for Thousand Li Stroke, it was still lowkey as before, looking more like a museum than a store that sold calligraphy supplies, alongside other items. Before stepping in, Di Tou went one shop over and looked around for a moment, only to find the old carpentry shop where Mu Li worked no longer existed. Instead, there was just a plain old tailor. Seeing this, Di Tou let out a sigh and shook his head. Some things would inevitably change, and as life changed, plans had to keep up.
