Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. While Di Tou was heading home in a rather cheery mood, Xiao Fu was feeling just the opposite.
As for why…
Well, earlier in the day he had been worried that Old Fang would wake up before Di Tou got back and would panic and freak out causing problems. Now he was concerned that Old Fang wouldn't wake up again.
Xiao Fu wasn't quite sure when the change had started, as he had been sitting face down on the table trying to ignore everything, but at some point Old Fang's face had become pale as flour, and his veins could be seen bulging out of his skin.
If it wasn't for the fact that Old Fang had made a gurgling noise, Xiao Fu was worried he might not have found out until Di Tou returned and found a corpse on his bed.
