Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
"Ah, I see."
Smiling the clerk waited for Di Tou to ask another question, hoping that the next one would be something that was worth money.
"So…"
The clerk perked up.
"What day is it by the way?"
Deflating, the clerk came to terms that he wouldn't be able to make any money from Di Tou yet again.
"According to the four-quarters eight seasons calendar, it is currently it is the Wu (7) day of the Tian (eight) month."
Di Tou: ???
Seeing Di Tou's kerfuffled look, the clerk sighed, knowing that some mortal villages didn't follow the common calendar. Heck, some of them didn't even know the name of the current king or queen of their area.
"The year, which is 360 days is split into 12 months, which are counted by the 12 Earthly Branches. Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, Hai. So currently it is the Tian month, or the eighth Branch of the year."
