Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
Scratching his head, Di Tou let out a soft cough to break the silence before saying, "Alright, we should be nearing the end of the forest now, so it's probably best that we walk out normally so we don't draw attention before we're familiar with the surroundings."
Seeing Wu Kong nod, Di Tou thought for a moment before digging through his Spatial Ring and letting out a sigh of relief. It was a good thing that old habits died hard, so Di Tou had brought a change of clothes even though there was no reason he'd ever have to swap out of his self-cleaning, self-drying, all-purpose magical gray robe. Taking the robe, he tossed it at Wu Kong and said, "Brother Wu, it's probably best that you change clothes if you don't want to pretend to be a monk." Looking at the gray robe, Wu Kong thought for a moment before agreeing and swapping his somewhat tattered monk-garbs for the robe.
