Although Di Tou felt some pity for Qing Xin, he didn't let it affect him much and instead just mused a little about her situation. It was sad to say, but most people just didn't feel that much compassion for others. Maybe it was desensitisation, maybe he was just a bad person, but right now, seeing Qing Xin was the same as hearing about a pitiful person in the news or seeing a homeless person on the streets. Even though he felt pity for them and knew that their situation wasn't good, there was a certain level of questioning of how did it affect him/why was he obligated to do anything.
