Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
Stepping back inside, Di Tou mentally knew it was time to head out and sweep for a while, but instead of making his way towards the door, he simply walked over to his bedroom, looked at his well-made bed, let out a thin smile, before simply laying down and staring at the ceiling.
Laying there, Di Tou's head was blank for a while before a sudden thought entered his mind… it would be real nice if he had a cellphone right now to scroll for a while.
Normally after having this thought his next thought was that he could pull up the scroll, but laying on the bed he felt like all of his muscles had fallen asleep and didn't want to ruin that feeling, so he didn't feel like getting out of bed, kneeling down, summoning the scroll, and getting back on bed.
So, instead, he simply lay there for a while absentmindedly.
He was… close, right?
He was close?
