Opening up the lid of the topmost box, there were twenty three glistening Spirit Stones resting in carefully carved indents. That amount of wealth alone already far surpassed what the clerk had asked for.
Carefully lifting up the topmost box and gently placing it on the writing desk as if he was carrying a baby, Di Tou then peeked into the second box, and had his breath taken away by the beautiful sight of thirty fresh stones each sitting in their respective indents.
