Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
Quickly retracting his Spiritual Sense and breathing through his nose, Di Tou managed to recover. Taking another moment to adjust his eyesight once again, Di Tou slowly examined the room to find that although it was still ominous, it wasn't quite as bad as what he had seen above. Down here, the metal bars revealed themselves to be empty cages. Of course, this wasn't exactly pleasant, but the scariest part about the cages was that they were all empty. There was no blood, no grime, no rust.
They were just empty cages.
As for the circular hunks of metal…
After looking for a moment, Di Tou realized it wasn't a hunk of metal but rather the entire wall system of this underground room. Running in a circular shape, the wall was made out of a rippled circular metal that came in and out as it surrounded him, causing him to feel like he was also trapped in a cage.
