15 - Quidditch, Christmas & Dragon

Hogwarts Quidditch Field:

Theo Pov:

Everyone was sitting or standing in the stands, I was standing with Ron, Hermione and Alexander. We were on the Gryffindor stands, Soon Hagrid joined us.

Mia popped her head out of my silver and gold scarf and looked at Hagrid. Hagrid upon feeling a gaze looked down to see Mia's cute little eyes and head.

Hagrid: "Now what do we have here, your a cute little one aren't ye'a"

Mia Jumped out of my scarf to stand on my head, her 9 tails wrapped around my net to keep ahold of me.

Hermione and Ron noticed Mia as well, Alexander has already meet Mia before and has spent some time with her.

Hermione: "That's the fox you carry around all the time, What is it's name?"

Theo: "This here is Mia, she is a 9 Elemental Fox. She is quite young barely a couple of months old. But she is smart and cute."

Hagrid: "I've never heard of one before, But she is a beauty isn't she"

Hagrid scratched Mia under her chin, Mia purred in delight.

Ron: "Your lucky I've got a fat rat, wasn't even new Percy had it for 10 years before me"

Ron complained

We waited for the two teams to come out, I had a surprise ready for when the Gryffindor team came out.

As the Slytherin team flew out and into the sky only their housemates and a few teachers clapped and cheered for them.

The moment the Gryffindor team flew out I light up the fire works I had made with the twins help of course.

As the fireworks exploded they turned into a giant lion that road at the Slytherin team and stand. The lion then exploded into gold and red.

No one hand expected that to happen but it caused everyone to cheer and yell. Hermione looked at me with disbelief that I would do that.

I just smiled at her. The two teams got into positions, ready to start the game. Madam Hooch came out onto the field with the ball box and a broomstick.

Hooch: "Now I want a nice clean game" she said while looking at the Slytherin team captain.

She then released the balls into the sky before throwing the last while blowing her whistle. The game started with Alicia Spinnet grabbing the quaffle and scoring.

Now I could see why people liked the sport so much, infact I might give it a go.

The game was fast paced and full of action. The game continued with Gryffindor scoring 20 points, Slytherin started to cheat by hitting players with their broomsticks and with bludgers.

Halfway through the game and Harry started to fly radically, as though the broomstick wanted to knock off Harry.

I stared at Harry's broomstick and could tell it was under the effects of a spell. I tried to track the caster and found that it came from the teachers stand.

Hermione: "It's being cursed, look Professor Snape is chanting a spell!"

Theo: "let me see"

She handed the binoculars to me. I checked Snape and he was chanting a spell, but I could see behind him Quirrell was as well.

Theo: "Quirrell is as well, it has to be him'

Ron: "Quirrell? why would Quirrell do that, I mean his a coward"

Hermione: "Yeah why would Quirrell do that?"

Theo: "Quirrell gives me a evil and terrible feeling when ever I am near him."

Hermione: "Well we have to do something, here follow me"

Hermione and I left the stand and ran to the teachers stand, after arriving under Quirrell and Snape.

I stopped Hermione from setting Snape's cloak on fire, I walked under Quirrell's seat. I told Hermione to watch Harry and tell me if it stops.

I used a simple fire spell on Professor Quirrell's clothing and waited for Quirrell to notice.

A teacher yelled at Quirrell that he was on fire, as soon as he noticed he jumped up from his seat.

Hermione gave me a thumbs up meaning that Harry's broomstick was back to normal, I noticed that Snape kept casting till Harry got back on his broom.

Hermione and I went back to the Gryffindor stand and rejoined Ron and Hagrid. Before we could talk we saw Harry flying after the Golden Snitch.

He was racing the Slytherin Seeker after the Snitch, they flew down, the Slytherin Seeker chicken out and stopped. Harry just before hitting the ground pulled up and continued to chase the Snitch.

Harry stood up on his broom and reached for the Snitch, He fell off his broom rolling on the ground.

He stood up and help his stomach about to throw up.

Hagrid: "I think he's going to be sick"

Harry throw up the Snitch and caught it, Harry had won Gryffindor the win.

I set off another firework into the sky, it blowup into writing 'Gryffindor Wins'.

A few day later we were talking to Hagrid.

Hagrid: "Nonsense! why would Quirrell or Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?"

Harry: "Who knows? why was Snape trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?"

Hagrid: "Who told you about Fluffy?"

Ron: "Fluffy!?!" Ron asked with alarm

Hermione: "That thing has a name?" she looked at Hagrid with disbelief

Hagrid: "Of course he has a name, He's mine. I bought him off an Irishman down at the pub last year. I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the...."

Harry: "Yes?"

Hagrid: "Shouldn't have said that. No more questions! That's top-secret that is." he warned while pointing his finger at Harry.

Harry: "But whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it." Harry said with concern

Hagrid: "Codswallop, Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher and has been one for years" He stopped walking and looked down at us

Hermione: "Teacher or not, I know a spell when I see one, and Professor Quirrell was casting it on Harry it stopped when he noticed the fire so it must be him"

Harry replied with "Exactly"

Hagrid sighed before talking

Hagrid: "Now you listen to me, all four of you. You're meddling in things that ought not be meddled in. It's Dangerous!

What that dog is guarding is between Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel!"

Theo: "Nicholas Flamel? who is he?"

Hagrid looked like he was caught stealing a cookie.

Hagrid: "I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that..." he continued to talk to himself while walking away.

We had no idea who Nicholas Flamel was and we needed to find out.

It was snowing Christmas was in a few days, I was staying at Hogwarts for the holiday. As well I have no home or shop yet.

I was sitting with Harry and Ron in the Great Hall when Hermione walked up to us. Harry and Ron we're playing wizard chess.

Hermione was disgusted when she saw the chess pieces destroy each other.

Hermione: "that's barbaric"

Ron replied "That's wizards chess for you, quite fun it is. I see you've packed" looking at her trunk

Hermione: "And I see you haven't"

Ron: "Parents going to see Charlie up in Romania he takes care of dragons"

Alexander was also going home to his family.

Hermione: "Well you have to find out about Nicholas Flamel, I would recommend the restricted section. Theo have a wonderful Christmas I hope you enjoy it" she finished with a blush before leaving in a hurry

Harry and Ron just looked at me, I shrugged my shoulders and went back to my book.

I had given Hermione some books and notes to continue her Elven language study while away.

I also continued to train the two boys every weekend as, well they could not handle it everyday.

Soon Christmas came, it would have been lonely if the three little ones were not here. Mia seemed to be having a fun time running around the Christmas decorations in the common room.

I got presents for everyone including these three. Ron got a new wizarding chess set with a new owl and candy, Harry got a snitch to practice and a few other small things.

Hermione got some of my books on magic Theory and a few books on minor simple Elven spells with some notes on how to best use and variations for the spells.

Alexander I got a nice set of Daggers for and a few small rare plants that he would like. I also gave some things to the Twins and the rest of the Weasley family.

Miss Molly will love the health and beauty care items I just know it. I also got gifts for each of the teachers, something they would like. And yes even the walking evil Quirrell, I got him a Bible and a book about repenting sin hopefully it can help him

For Mia I got some Elemental crystals and special food. The Elemental crystals will help in her growth and make a wonderful toy while she is not absorbing them.

Starlight I got a nice new nest for her, it was a nest in a eternal flame which she loved. As for Tanwen I got some gold and treasure for him, he immediately moved it all under his pillow and made his treasure pile with his favourite pillow on top to sleep on.

I just smiled at his antics, dragons do love to horde things they find precious. That will keep him busy for a while.

I looked at my gifts, there was surprisingly quite a few, well my than I thought I would get. There was a couple of books from Hermione, a sweater with a large T and candy from the Weasley family.

Harry got me a few books on potions, Ron got me some candy. And Alexander got me a new set of training gear.

But there was a present from a unknown person, I opened it to find some jewellery and gems as well as a bow with arrows. The jewellery and gems look like it was made from the stars, like starlight had been made into gems.

The bow was silver with light green markings and a golden string. the arrows were made of a brown wood with green feathers and a gold arrow head. The arrows had runes just like the bow.

There was no note or letter with the gift. I found it odd, but didn't think much of it. Later I meet up with Ron and Harry and we went to my common room to talk and show our gifts.

Harry got a cool invisibility cloak which gave out quite a bit of magic but it was subtle, that was untill he put it on. He just disappeared completely the only thing to tell you he was there was the sound he made and the fact I could feel his gaze.

It was soon Dinner in the Great Hall, and I have to say it was amazing. There was multiple Christmas trees and decorations around the castle especially the Great Hall.

All the food had a christmassy feel, although I had never celebrated Christmas I have to say now this was fun.

After finishing the feast we went our separate ways for the night.

Time skip a few days

I was eating breakfast when Harry came up to me with Ron in a hurry. I just looked at them with a wired gaze.

Harry: "You have to come quick there is something we have to show you"

I followed them to a large wooden door, after entering there was a large empty room bar a mirror at the back.

Harry grabbed me by the arm and pulled me over to the mirror. I saw weird writing on the mirror I could not understand the writing, it just looked like a bunch of letters placed in the hope to make words.

Harry: "This mirror shows us different things"

Ron: "Yeah in it I'm head boy and captain of the Quidditch team oh and I got the house cup" Ron said with a dreamy expression

Harry: "My parents are in the mirror when I look into it. Go on stand here and look into it tell us what you see"

I stood in front of the mirror and was surprised at what I saw.

Theo: "I.... I see a massive city with a Palace in the center, there is a huge tree in the middle. There are tens of thousands of Elves walking around happily, I am sitting on a throne with my mother smiling at me. Everyone is happy."

Ron: "What the bloody hell, why would that appear for you?" Ron had a disbelieving expression while Harry was confused.

After that day Harry would go back constantly to the mirror, till one day he told us that the Headmaster had moved it away. I really didn't care about the mirror and it is a good thing for it to be moved after all I could see the bad effects it had on Harry.

The days passed quickly and quietly till the holidays finished. Hermione came up to us and said she had remembered who Nicholas Flamel was.

He was the creater of the philosopher's stone an object that could turn any metal into gold and make the elixir of life. The elixir in my opinion is well cool but it is not the only way to extend someones life.

We immediately ran to Hagrid's house near the forbidden forest, once we got there we knocked on the door and waited.

Once Hagrid opened the door you could see he was stressed and in a hurry."No, no visitors today"

All of us: "We know about the philosopher's stone"

Hagrid hurried us inside, we found out from him that Fluffy was the first defense for the stone and that almost all the teachers had helped create a defense.

While we were taking a loud sound came from the pot over the fire in the fireplace. Hagrid went over and picked up a egg, he put it on the table with haste.

Ron immediately recognize the egg as a dragon egg, I was surprised because it looked like a wyvern egg to me. Even when the 'dragon' egg hatched I still thought it was a wyvern not a dragon.

But I wasn't going to break Hagrid's dreams of having a dragon. The 'dragon' accidentally set Hagrid's beard on fire.

Hagrid: "Oh look he knows who his mommy is" he said playing with it.

Theo: "umm Hagrid it's not a guy but a girl" I said awkwardly.

Hagrid: "She's still the cutest thing"

Hermione: "Hagrid it illegal to have a pet dragon, your not allowed let alone you life in a wooden house!"

Theo: "Maybe I can help with that, for you see it is against the law for you all to have a dragon but for me it isn't."

Harry: "What do you mean?"

Theo: "Well you see us Elves do not follow then ministry of Magic's laws because we have our own laws and we can not be charged with breaking any of your laws. And we are allowed to have pets of any kind as long as they have been trained"

Ron: "You can't train a dragon though" Ron pointed out

Theo: "Actually you can you just need the right teacher and technique, then you can pretty much came anything."

As we were taking A little Draco Malfoy was looking through the window at us, I had already noticed him but did not care.

Hagrid noticed Draco and turn pale, Draco ran off after being noticed. I didn't care much. We left and made our way back to the castle.

We ran into Professor McGonagall and a smug Draco, she gave us all detentions and took 50 points from everyone but me for me she took 20. We had to go to the forbidden forest the next night and help Hagrid.

(Remember there are only two people in his house so they get extra points)
