"Ouch, where is that damn thing?"
Penya was rummaging through the contents of the cupboard on her desk. The shop hasn't closed yet, but she needs to quickly find something that can help her meet Yixu. An Abyss that can manipulate into beautiful young elves.
Yixu came over a few days ago when she couldn't pay for her drink, she handed her a flat, rough crystal piece that she said was worth two gold bars. Penya, who knew that the crystal was not from Celena's area, asked more. And sure enough, it turned out that the crystal was obtained by Yinxu from the Abyss Hole.
Her place.
"Penya, did you have an appointment with a beautiful girl at that time? She comes again." Tenya appeared in the doorway. By reflex, Penya hurriedly tidied up the drawers and her small desk—the place where she used to calculate the tavern's income and then told Tenya to call Yixu here.
"Call her here."
Tenya's face looked worried. In this tavern there is a simple hut where Tenya and Penya live. As business elves, they don't live near the forest. There are many trade licensing documents that need to be taken care of, including legal documents related to the Minister. Even so, Penya and Tenya were elves who came from the Celena Forest.
"But she's half Abyss, aren't you afraid?" whispered Tenya closer.
"Stay cool. Yixu is different. She can control her strength. Do you still not believe that she is also a Myth?"
"What are Myths?" asked Tenya, confused.
"Oh, I forgot you're still a kid and never attended the Academy of Light. Myth is a person who has orbs. They have power like Grandpa Chief in Celena Forest."
Tenya's eyes widened and lit up, "Ah, really? Well, maybe you could say that, but be careful. I'll call her in a minute."
Soon Tenya came out and Penya sat waiting, little plans started to form in her mind. If she had to get married next week, then it would be easy for Penya to get the Lunar Crystal in Han Zhong's hands. Agreement with her mother—Penya must marry, otherwise, her business will be closed by her mother and she must return to her small hut in the forest of Celena. According to Penya, it is not modern at all.
In contrast to life at the magnificent and bustling Lune Temple, everything suited Penya perfectly. Instead of praying to the Moon Goddess who never existed, she preferred to trade and meet many people who enjoyed her flavorful drink. That made her more satisfied than being a virgin elf being chased by carpenter elves in the forests.
Someone knocked on the door, shattering Penya's image. She looked up and found Yixu—a thin, beautiful girl with sharp ears. She was an elf too, but if she opened the back of her neck which was covered by her long straight ivory hair, then everyone could see that there was a tattoo of a three-pointed wave—which meant, she was also a descendant of the Abyss.
"I promised to return your china cup. It's safe in the kitchen. Tenya says do you need anything?" Yixu drew closer. Sometimes, from the outside, Yixu is just an innocent young elf. But if you take it into account again, how often she goes in and out of being an elf who pretends to be good—she's really, really bad. It's just a matter of time to negotiate with her.
But Penya had to take this risk. She had to get married, and she had to snatch the Lunar Crystal from the dragon boy's hands,
"Yesterday you said the Abysses were planning something about a war of darkness."
Yixu's sea-blue eyes suddenly turned dark. "What is it?"
Penya was silent for a moment. "Today a dragon cub came to my place and he was after the crystal from Folix's hole."
Yixu's smile suddenly returned. "Ah, that little dragon cub? What do you know?"
"He wanted to steal the crystal from Folix because they had to build the Shield of Light. You seem to know that Dragon Palace was completely attacked yesterday, right?"
"Oh, of course, I know."
Penya didn't know if this was the right thing she was doing. But she was determined from the start.
"Because of the raid, I was the one who took the lead," Yixu continued.

When Yixu came out, Tenya observed the beautiful and cold-faced woman. Her appearance, which was only wrapped in a black robe with blue silver hair, made her look like an ice sculpture at the Northern Whale pole. For some reason, this time the girl didn't seem as calm as she used to admit that she didn't have the money to pay for her flavored drink.
From the sidelines of the cottage kitchen, she felt a cold aura that surrounded the hallway made her feel uneasy. So after Yixu left the hut, Tenya hurriedly went over to Penya's study to check.
"Penya are you okay—"
A light from the bright blue marble filled the dark room. Tenya reflexively stopped in the doorway and was immediately restrained when she saw her older sister closely observing the round stone.
"Penya, is that—"
Penya turned her head with a big smile. "You see this, Tenya? The Lunar Crystal is in my hands! I can already go to Celena's Forest and make a wish for the most perfect elf! Ah, how relieved I will not be moving into the hut and staying in my tavern."
The crystal that shone brightly in the flickering grip of Penya's fingers made her sister a little stunned.
"So Yixu also has the crystal? How did she get it?"
Penya's furrowed for a moment, "How would I know? Maybe she was a prayer too from Celena's Forest or more likely, she found these crystals in the forest. Remember though, these crystals are scattered throughout the forest. And for those who find it, it is destined."
Penya's explanation still wasn't enough for Tenya. Because for some reason Yixu's figure, who had come out of the Penya room earlier, looked colder than usual. As if the girl was covering her true nature. Tenya also realized that she had not had enough time to get to know Yixu. What if Yixu, whom they knew was half Abyss, was only using her? What if all of this was just a ruse of the Abyss?
A part of Tenya's heart still wasn't convinced but while she could see her sister smile, she didn't dare to make her gloomy. After all, Penya did need the crystal. And the squabbles that the dragon cub had were no longer her business.
"So are you going to Celena's Forest now?" asked Tenya slowly.
Penya moved, and approached a small jar that had a string around the neck of the glass bottle. The crystal clattered as it hit the glass wall. The light faded, and the light dimmed as it left Penya's hand. The magic is a bit of beauty.
"Yes. It's your turn to look after the tavern. I'll be back in three days. Make sure everything is secure. And if the dragon cubs and the bodyguard come, tell them that I couldn't help them."
